76 亚萨的诗歌，交于伶长。用丝弦的乐器。
1 在犹大，神为人所认识；在以色列，他的名为大。
2 在撒冷有他的帐幕，在锡安有他的居所。
3 他在那里折断弓上的火箭并盾牌、刀剑和争战的兵器。（细拉）
4 你从有野食之山而来，有光华和荣美。
5 心中勇敢的人都被抢夺，他们睡了长觉，没有一个英雄能措手。
6 雅各的神啊，你的斥责一发，坐车的、骑马的都沉睡了。
7 唯独你是可畏的，你怒气一发，谁能在你面前站得住呢？
8 你从天上使人听判断——
9 神起来施行审判，要救地上一切谦卑的人——那时地就惧怕而静默。（细拉）
10 人的愤怒要成全你的荣美，人的余怒你要禁止。
11 你们许愿，当向耶和华你们的神还愿；在他四面的人，都当拿贡物献给那可畏的主。

Who Can Stand Before You?

76 In Judah God is (C)known;
his name is great in Israel.
2 His (D)abode has been established in (E)Salem,
his (F)dwelling place in Zion.
3 There he (G)broke the flashing arrows,
the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war. Selah
4 Glorious are you, more majestic
(H)than the mountains full of (I)prey.
5 (J)The stouthearted were stripped of their spoil;
(K)they sank into sleep;
all the men of war
were unable to use their hands.
6 At your rebuke, O God of Jacob,
both (L)rider and horse lay stunned.
7 (M)But you, you are to be feared!
Who can (N)stand before you
when once your anger is roused?
8 From the heavens you uttered judgment;
(O)the earth feared and was still,
9 when God (P)arose to establish judgment,
to save all the humble of the earth. Selah
10 Surely (Q)the wrath of man shall praise you;
the remnant[a] of wrath you will put on like a belt.
11 (R)Make your vows to the Lord your God and perform them;
let all around him (S)bring gifts
to him who (T)is to be feared,
12 who (U)cuts off the spirit of princes,
who (V)is to be feared by the kings of the earth.

2 Gott ist in Juda bekannt,
sein Name ist groß in Israel;
3 in Salem ist sein Zelt[a]
und seine Wohnung in Zion.
4 Dort zerbricht er die Blitze[b] des Bogens,
Schild, Schwert und Kriegsgerät. (Sela.)
5 Glanzvoll bist du, Mächtiger,
Über den Bergen von Beute!
6 Die Tapferen werden ausgeplündert;
sie sinken in ihren Schlaf,
und den Kriegsleuten versagen die Hände.
7 Von deinem Schelten, o Gott Jakobs,
sinken Ross und Reiter in tiefen Schlaf!
8 Du bist zu fürchten,
und wer kann vor deinem Angesicht bestehen,
wenn dein Zorn entbrennt?
9 Wenn du das Urteil vom Himmel erschallen lässt,
erschrickt die Erde und hält sich still,
10 wenn Gott sich erhebt zum Gericht,
um zu retten alle Elenden im Land. (Sela.)
11 Denn der Zorn des Menschen muss dich preisen,
mit dem Rest der Zornesflammen gürtest du dich.
12 Legt Gelübde ab und erfüllt sie dem Herrn, eurem Gott;
von allen Seiten soll man Geschenke bringen dem Furchtgebietenden!
13 Er beschneidet den Mut der Fürsten
und ist furchtbar gegen die Könige auf Erden.

2 Dieu est connu en Juda,
Son nom est grand en Israël.
3 Sa tente est à Salem[a],
Et sa demeure à Sion.
4 C’est là qu’il a brisé les flèches[b],
Le bouclier, l’épée et les armes de guerre. – Pause.
5 Tu es plus majestueux, plus puissant
Que les montagnes des ravisseurs.
6 Ils ont été dépouillés, ces héros pleins de courage,
Ils se sont endormis de leur dernier sommeil;
Ils n’ont pas su se défendre, tous ces vaillants hommes.
7 A ta menace, Dieu de Jacob!
Ils se sont endormis, cavaliers et chevaux.
8 Tu es redoutable, ô toi!
Qui peut te résister, quand ta colère éclate?
9 Du haut des cieux tu as proclamé la sentence;
La terre effrayée s’est tenue tranquille,
10 Lorsque Dieu s’est levé pour faire justice,
Pour sauver tous les malheureux de la terre. – Pause.
11 L’homme te célèbre même dans sa fureur,
Quand tu te revêts de tout ton courroux.
12 Faites des vœux à l’Eternel, votre Dieu, et accomplissez-les!
Que tous ceux qui l’environnent apportent des dons au Dieu terrible!
13 Il abat l’orgueil des princes,
Il est redoutable aux rois de la terre.
