上帝是審判者
亞薩的詩，交給樂長，調用「休要毀壞」。
75 上帝啊，
我們稱謝你，我們稱謝你，
因為你與我們同在。
人們都述說你奇妙的作為。
2 你說：「我已定好時間，
我必秉公審判。
3 大地震動，世人戰抖的時候，
是我使地的根基穩固。（細拉）
4 我警告狂妄人不要再狂傲，
告誡惡人不要再張狂。
5 不要再狂妄自大，
不要說話傲氣沖天。」
6 人的尊貴不是來自東方，
不是來自西方，
也不是來自曠野。
7 決定人尊貴的是上帝：
祂擢升這個，貶抑那個。
8 耶和華手中的杯裡盛滿泛著泡沫、精工調製的怒酒。
祂倒出怒酒，讓世上的惡人喝得一滴不剩。
9 我要永遠宣揚祂的作為，
我要頌讚雅各的上帝。
10 上帝必剷除惡人的勢力，
使義人充滿力量。

Het Boek
75 Een psalm van Asaf. Een lied voor de koordirigent. Te zingen op de wijs van: ‘Verderf niet.’
2 Wij loven en prijzen uw naam, o God,
want uw naam is onder ons.
Er wordt veel gesproken
over alle wonderen die U doet.
3 Wanneer Ik de tijd daarvoor gekomen acht,
zal Ik volmaakt rechtspreken.
4 Al schudt de aarde op haar grondvesten
en wankelen alle mensen,
toch heb Ik haar vast neergezet op haar pilaren.
5 Ik heb de trotse mensen gewaarschuwd:
‘Wees niet hoogmoedig’
en zei tegen de ongelovigen:
‘Wees niet koppig,
6 gedraag u niet weerbarstig tegenover Mij
en wees niet trots.’
7 Want uw waarde wordt niet bepaald
door een invloed van deze aarde,
niet uit dit of dat land of uit die woestijn.
8 God is de Rechter.
De een wordt door Hem teruggewezen
en op zijn plaats gezet,
de ander wordt door Hem geprezen
en hooggeacht.
9 In de hand van de Here bevindt zich een beker.
Daarin bruist de rijk gemengde wijn.
God schenkt die beker helemaal leeg,
tot op de bodem toe.
Alle ongelovigen op deze aarde moeten daaruit drinken.
10 Maar ik?
Ik wil alles wat ik over God weet, bekendmaken.
Ik wil lofliederen zingen voor de God van Jakob.
11 Alle koppigheid en hoogmoed van de ongelovigen
doe ik ver van mij.
Maar oprechte mensen
zullen in ere worden hersteld.
Psalm 75
King James Version
75 Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
2 When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
3 The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
4 I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
8 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
9 But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
