⁶圣殿中的一切雕刻，

他们都用斧子和铳子打碎了。

⁷他们用火把你的圣所烧成焦土，

他们亵渎你名的居所。

⁸他们心里说：“我们要把它们完全毁灭！”

他们烧毁了地上一切敬拜　神的聚会地方。

New International Version

⁶They smashed all the carved^(A) paneling
    with their axes and hatchets.
⁷They burned your sanctuary to the ground;
    they defiled^(B) the dwelling place^(C) of your Name.^(D)
⁸They said in their hearts, “We will crush^(E) them completely!”
    They burned^(F) every place where God was worshiped in the land.
