GOD’S WORD Translation

70 Come quickly to rescue me, O God!
Come quickly to help me, O Lord!
2 Let those who seek my life
be confused and put to shame.
Let those who want my downfall
be turned back and disgraced.
3 Let those who say, “Aha! Aha!”
be turned back because of their own shame.
4 Let all who seek you rejoice and be glad because of you.
Let those who love your salvation continually say,
“God is great!”
5 But I am oppressed and needy.
O God, come to me quickly.
You are my help and my savior.
O Lord, do not delay!

70 Make haste, o God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord.
2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
3 Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5 But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord, make no tarrying.

1 हे परमेश्वर, मेरी रक्षा कर!
हे परमेश्वर, जल्दी कर और मुझको सहारा दे!
2 लोग मुझे मार डालने का जतन कर रहे हैं।
उन्हें निराश
और अपमानित कर दे!
ऐसा चाहते हैं कि लोग मेरा बुरा कर डाले।
उनका पतन ऐसा हो जाये कि वे लज्जित हो।
3 लोगों ने मुझको हँसी ठट्टों में उड़ाया।
मैं उनकी पराजय की आस करता हूँ और इस बात की कि उन्हें लज्जा अनुभव हो।
4 मुझको यह आस है कि ऐसे वे सभी लोग जो तेरी आराधना करते हैं,
वह अति प्रसन्न हों।
वे सभी लोग तेरी सहायता की आस रहते हैं
वे तेरी सदा स्तुती करते रहें।
5 हे परमेश्वर, मैं दीन और असहाय हूँ।
जल्दी कर! आ, और मुझको सहारा दे!
हे परमेश्वर, तू ही बस ऐसा है जो मुझको बचा सकता है,
अधिक देर मत कर!

1 Hasten, O God, to save me;
come quickly, Lord, to help me.(B)
2 May those who want to take my life(C)
be put to shame and confusion;
may all who desire my ruin
be turned back in disgrace.(D)
3 May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!”(E)
turn back because of their shame.
4 But may all who seek you(F)
rejoice and be glad(G) in you;
may those who long for your saving help always say,
“The Lord is great!”(H)
