因為洪水快把我淹沒;
我深陷泥沼,無法站穩腳;
我連連呼救,已聲嘶力竭;
求你不要使等候你的人因我而受辱;

不要讓我沉下去;

因為你充滿慈愛和良善;
我渴望有人同情,卻沒有一個;

23 願他們眼目昏暗,無法看見;

69 1-2 Save me, O my God. The floods have risen. Deeper and deeper I sink in the mire; the waters rise around me. I have wept until I am exhausted; my throat is dry and hoarse; my eyes are swollen with weeping, waiting for my God to act. I cannot even count all those who hate me without cause. They are influential men, these who plot to kill me though I am innocent. They demand that I be punished for what I didn’t do.

O God, you know so well how stupid I am, and you know all my sins. O Lord God of the armies of heaven, don’t let me be a stumbling block to those who trust in you. O God of Israel, don’t let me cause them to be confused, though I am mocked and cursed and shamed for your sake. Even my own brothers pretend they don’t know me! My zeal for God and his work[a] burns hot within me. And because I advocate your cause, your enemies insult me even as they insult you. 10 How they scoff and mock me when I mourn and fast before the Lord! 11 How they talk about me when I wear sackcloth to show my humiliation and sorrow for my sins! 12 I am the talk of the town and the song of the drunkards. 13 But I keep right on praying to you, Lord. For now is the time—you are bending down to hear! You are ready with a plentiful supply of love and kindness. Now answer my prayer and rescue me as you promised.[b] 14 Pull me out of this mire. Don’t let me sink in. Rescue me from those who hate me, and from these deep waters I am in.

15 Don’t let the floods overwhelm me or the ocean swallow me; save me from the pit that threatens me. 16 O Jehovah, answer my prayers, for your loving-kindness is wonderful; your mercy is so plentiful, so tender and so kind. 17 Don’t hide from me,[c] for I am in deep trouble. Quick! Come and save me. 18 Come, Lord, and rescue me. Ransom me from all my enemies. 19 You know how they talk about me, and how they so shamefully dishonor me. You see them all and know what each has said.

20 Their contempt has broken my heart; my spirit is heavy within me. If even one would show some pity, if even one would comfort me! 21 For food they gave me gall; for my awful thirst they offered vinegar. 22 Let their joys[d] turn to ashes and their peace disappear; 23 let darkness, blindness, and great feebleness be theirs. 24 Pour out your fury upon them; consume them with the fierceness of your anger. 25 Let their homes be desolate and abandoned. 26 For they persecute the one you have smitten and scoff at the pain of the one you have pierced. 27 Pile their sins high and do not overlook them. 28 Let these men be blotted from the list of the living;[e] do not give them the joys of life with the righteous.

29 But rescue me, O God, from my poverty and pain. 30 Then I will praise God with my singing! My thanks will be his praise— 31 that will please him more than sacrificing a bullock or an ox. 32 The humble shall see their God at work for them. No wonder they will be so glad! All who seek for God shall live in joy. 33 For Jehovah hears the cries of his needy ones and does not look the other way.

34 Praise him, all heaven and earth! Praise him, all the seas and everything in them! 35 For God will save Jerusalem;[f] he rebuilds the cities of Judah. His people shall live in them and not be dispossessed. 36 Their children shall inherit the land; all who love his name shall live there safely.

Sácame del lodo

Al director. Al compás de la melodía «Los Lirios». Canción de David.

¡Dios mío, sálvame,
    que me llega el agua al cuello!
Me estoy hundiendo en el lodo
    y no tengo de dónde agarrarme.
Estoy en un mar de aguas profundas,
    y la corriente me está arrastrando.
Estoy cansado de tanto llamarte;
    mi garganta está seca de tanto gritar;
    mis ojos están cansados de tanto buscar a mi Dios.
Tengo más enemigos que cabellos en la cabeza;
    me odian sin razón.
Tratan de destruirme y dicen mentiras de mí;
    mienten, me acusan de haber robado,
    y ahora tengo que devolver lo que no he robado.

Dios mío, tú sabes las locuras que he cometido,
    no puedo esconderte mis pecados.
Por ti he soportado ofensas,
    mi cara se ha cubierto de deshonra.
Mis hermanos me tratan como a un extraño;
    los hijos de mi madre me tratan como a un desconocido.

La emoción que siento por tu casa me está consumiendo;
    recibo las ofensas de los que te insultan.
10 Cuando lloro y ayuno,
    ellos se burlan de mí.
11 Me visto de luto
    y hacen chistes a costa mía.
12 Hablan mal de mí en los lugares públicos;
    los borrachos me dedican canciones.

    Dios mío, por tu fiel amor respóndeme;
por tu lealtad,
    sálvame.
14 Sácame del lodo,
    no dejes que me hunda;
Líbrame de mis enemigos
    y de las aguas profundas.
15 No dejes que la corriente me arrastre,
    ni que me trague el hondo remolino,
    que no se cierre sobre mí como la boca de un pozo.
16 SEÑOR, respóndeme con todo tu fiel amor;
    por tu gran compasión, ven a mí y ayúdame.
18 Ven a rescatarme,
    líbrame de mis enemigos.

19 Tú conoces mi dolor, mi vergüenza y deshonor;
    tienes presente quiénes son mis enemigos.
20 Las ofensas me han destrozado,
    estoy enfermo;
he buscado quien se compadezca de mí,
    pero no lo hay;
quien me consuele,

    y sus momentos de paz en tropiezos;
23 que queden ciegos
    y pierdan toda su fuerza.
24 Dios mío, hazles sentir toda tu furia,
    que tu ardiente enojo los alcance.
25 Destruye sus hogares.
    Haz que sus hogares queden vacíos,
    que no quede nadie en ellos,
26 porque ellos persiguen a los que tú has afligido;
    y se burlan del dolor del que tú has herido.
27 Dales maldad sobre la maldad de ellos;
    no permitas que se beneficien de tu justicia.
28 Borra sus nombres del libro de la vida;
    que no aparezcan inscritos con los justos.

29 Yo estoy triste y adolorido;
    Dios mío, levántame y sálvame.

30 Con canciones alabaré el nombre de Dios;
    lo honraré con canciones de agradecimiento.

    y todos los seres que viven en ellos.
35 Porque Dios salvará a Sion;
    él reconstruirá las ciudades de Judá;
    allí habitarán y la poseerán.
36 Los descendientes de sus siervos la heredarán;
    vivirán en ella los que aman el nombre de Dios.

Psalm 69[a]

For the director of music. To the tune of “Lilies.” Of David.

Save me, O God,
    for the waters(A) have come up to my neck.(B)
I sink in the miry depths,(C)
    where there is no foothold.
I have come into the deep waters;
    the floods engulf me.
I am worn out calling for help;(D)
    my throat is parched.
My eyes fail,(E)
    looking for my God.
Those who hate me(F) without reason(G)
    outnumber the hairs of my head;
many are my enemies without cause,(H)
    those who seek to destroy me.(I)
I am forced to restore
    what I did not steal.

You, God, know my folly;(J)
    my guilt is not hidden from you.(K)

Lord, the Lord Almighty,
    may those who hope in you
    not be disgraced because of me;
God of Israel,
    may those who seek you
    not be put to shame because of me.
For I endure scorn(L) for your sake,(M)
    and shame covers my face.(N)
I am a foreigner to my own family,
    a stranger to my own mother’s children;(O)
for zeal for your house consumes me,(P)
    and the insults of those who insult you fall on me.(Q)
10 When I weep and fast,(R)
    I must endure scorn;
11 when I put on sackcloth,(S)
    people make sport of me.
12 Those who sit at the gate(T) mock me,
    and I am the song of the drunkards.(U)

13 But I pray to you, Lord,
    in the time of your favor;(V)
in your great love,(W) O God,
    answer me with your sure salvation.
14 Rescue me from the mire,
    do not let me sink;
deliver me from those who hate me,
    from the deep waters.(X)
15 Do not let the floodwaters(Y) engulf me
    or the depths swallow me up(Z)
    or the pit close its mouth over me.(AA)

16 Answer me, Lord, out of the goodness of your love;(AB)
    in your great mercy turn to me.
17 Do not hide your face(AC) from your servant;
    answer me quickly,(AD) for I am in trouble.(AE)
18 Come near and rescue me;
    deliver(AF) me because of my foes.

19 You know how I am scorned,(AG) disgraced and shamed;
    all my enemies are before you.
20 Scorn has broken my heart
    and has left me helpless;
I looked for sympathy, but there was none,
    for comforters,(AH) but I found none.(AI)
21 They put gall in my food
    and gave me vinegar(AJ) for my thirst.(AK)

22 May the table set before them become a snare;
    may it become retribution and[b] a trap.(AL)
23 May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see,
    and their backs be bent forever.(AM)
24 Pour out your wrath(AN) on them;
    let your fierce anger overtake them.
25 May their place be deserted;(AO)
    let there be no one to dwell in their tents.(AP)
26 For they persecute those you wound
    and talk about the pain of those you hurt.(AQ)
27 Charge them with crime upon crime;(AR)
    do not let them share in your salvation.(AS)
28 May they be blotted out of the book of life(AT)
    and not be listed with the righteous.(AU)

29 But as for me, afflicted and in pain—
    may your salvation, God, protect me.(AV)

30 I will praise God’s name in song(AW)
    and glorify him(AX) with thanksgiving.
31 This will please the Lord more than an ox,
    more than a bull with its horns and hooves.(AY)
32 The poor will see and be glad(AZ)
    you who seek God, may your hearts live!(BA)
33 The Lord hears the needy(BB)
    and does not despise his captive people.

34 Let heaven and earth praise him,
    the seas and all that move in them,(BC)
35 for God will save Zion(BD)
    and rebuild the cities of Judah.(BE)
Then people will settle there and possess it;
36     the children of his servants will inherit it,(BF)
    and those who love his name will dwell there.(BG)
