主必不听;
Salmos 66
Portuguese New Testament: Easy-to-Read Version
Louvor a Deus
Ao diretor do coro. Salmo. Canção.
66 Cantem a Deus com alegria,
    habitantes de toda a terra!
2 Toquem e cantem cânticos de louvor a ele;
    louvem-no com hinos gloriosos.
    o seu poder é tão grande que os seus inimigos se inclinam diante do Senhor, cheios de medo.
4 O mundo inteiro o adora;
    todos cantam cânticos de louvor em sua honra”. Selah
5 Venham e vejam as obras que Deus fez;
    as suas maravilhas enchem de temor os seres humanos.
    e não nos deixa cair.
10 Deus nos submeteu à prova;
    nos purificou como se faz com a prata.
11 Fez com que nós caíssemos na armadilha;
    colocou um fardo muito pesado sobre as nossas costas.
12 Fez com que os nossos inimigos cavalgassem sobre as nossas cabeças;
    passamos pelo fogo e pela água, mas no fim nos deu a liberdade.
13 Agora venho ao seu templo oferecer sacrifícios queimados;
    cumprirei as promessas
14 que lhe fiz quando
    atravessava dificuldades.
    o Senhor não teria me escutado.
19 Mas ele ouviu a minha oração
    e me respondeu.

    make his praise glorious.(C)
3 Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds!(D)
    So great is your power
    that your enemies cringe(E) before you.
4 All the earth bows down(F) to you;
    they sing praise(G) to you,
    they sing the praises of your name.”[a]
5 Come and see what God has done,
    his awesome deeds(H) for mankind!
6 He turned the sea into dry land,(I)
    they passed through(J) the waters on foot—
    come, let us rejoice(K) in him.
7 He rules forever(L) by his power,
    his eyes watch(M) the nations—
    let not the rebellious(N) rise up against him.
8 Praise(O) our God, all peoples,
    let the sound of his praise be heard;
9 he has preserved our lives(P)
    and kept our feet from slipping.(Q)
10 For you, God, tested(R) us;
    you refined us like silver.(S)
11 You brought us into prison(T)
    and laid burdens(U) on our backs.
12 You let people ride over our heads;(V)
    we went through fire and water,
    but you brought us to a place of abundance.(W)
13 I will come to your temple with burnt offerings(X)
    and fulfill my vows(Y) to you—
14 vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke
    when I was in trouble.
15 I will sacrifice fat animals to you
    and an offering of rams;
    I will offer bulls and goats.(Z)
16 Come and hear,(AA) all you who fear God;
    let me tell(AB) you what he has done for me.
17 I cried out to him with my mouth;
    his praise was on my tongue.
18 If I had cherished sin in my heart,
    the Lord would not have listened;(AC)
19 but God has surely listened
    and has heard(AD) my prayer.
20 Praise be to God,
    who has not rejected(AE) my prayer
    or withheld his love from me!

Psalm 66
King James Version
66 Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:
2 Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.
3 Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.
4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.
5 Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.
6 He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.
7 He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.
8 O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:
9 Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
11 Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.
12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.
13 I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,
14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
15 I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.
16 Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
17 I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
