Psalm 65[a]
For the director of music. A psalm of David. A song.
1 Praise awaits[b] you, our God, in Zion;(A)
to you our vows will be fulfilled.(B)
2 You who answer prayer,
to you all people will come.(C)
3 When we were overwhelmed by sins,(D)
you forgave[c] our transgressions.(E)
4 Blessed are those you choose(F)
and bring near(G) to live in your courts!
We are filled with the good things of your house,(H)
of your holy temple.
5 You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds,(I)
God our Savior,(J)
the hope of all the ends of the earth(K)
and of the farthest seas,(L)
6 who formed the mountains(M) by your power,
having armed yourself with strength,(N)
7 who stilled the roaring of the seas,(O)
the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations.(P)
8 The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders;
where morning dawns, where evening fades,
you call forth songs of joy.(Q)
9 You care for the land and water it;(R)
you enrich it abundantly.(S)
The streams of God are filled with water
to provide the people with grain,(T)
for so you have ordained it.[d]
10 You drench its furrows and level its ridges;
you soften it with showers(U) and bless its crops.
11 You crown the year with your bounty,(V)
and your carts overflow with abundance.(W)
12 The grasslands of the wilderness overflow;(X)
the hills are clothed with gladness.(Y)
13 The meadows are covered with flocks(Z)
and the valleys are mantled with grain;(AA)
they shout for joy and sing.(AB)

65 Lạy Đức Chúa Trời tại Si-ôn,
Thật đáng[a] ca ngợi Ngài và giữ trọn lời hứa nguyện với Ngài.
2 Lạy[b] Đấng nghe lời cầu nguyện,
Cả nhân loại[c] sẽ đến cùng Ngài.
3 Về vấn đề gian ác, các sự vi phạm đã thắng hơn tôi,
Nhưng Ngài tha thứ cho.
4 Phước cho người Ngài đã chọn
Và khiến đến gần để ở nơi hành lang Ngài.
Chúng tôi sẽ thỏa nguyện với phúc lành của nhà Ngài,
Tức là đền thánh Ngài.
5 Lạy Đức Chúa Trời cứu rỗi của chúng tôi,
Ngài sẽ đáp lời chúng tôi bằng sự công chính qua những việc diệu kỳ.[d]
Ngài là sự tin cậy của mọi người ở tận cùng trái đất
Cũng như ở vùng biển cả xa xăm.
6 Ngài dùng quyền năng thiết lập núi non,
Vì Ngài nai nịt bằng sức mạnh.
7 Ngài dẹp yên biển động,
Sóng gió ầm ầm
Cùng các dân xáo động.
8 Những người ở nơi xa xôi cùng tận trái đất thấy dấu lạ của Ngài đều sợ hãi.
Ngài làm rạng đông và hoàng hôn cho những vùng ở chân trời, góc bể[e]
Đều reo hò vui vẻ.
9 Ngài chăm sóc đất,
Làm cho đất màu mỡ[f] và rất phì nhiêu.
Dòng suối Đức Chúa Trời đầy nước,
Ngài cung cấp thóc lúa.
Ngài chuẩn bị đất bằng cách:
10 Tưới nước các luống cầy,
Ban bằng những gò nổng.
Ngài ban mưa rào thấm nhuần đất đai,
Chúc lành cho hoa quả[g] xum xuê.
11 Ngài đội mão triều phúc lành cho năm,
Các lối Ngài đi qua đượm nhuần màu mỡ.[h]
12 Các đồng cỏ nơi sa mạc được xanh tươi,[i]
Và các đồi núi đầy dẫy[j] sự vui mừng.
13 Các bầy chiên tràn ngập đồng cỏ,
Thóc lúa bao phủ các thung lũng,
Chúng cùng nhau reo hò, ca hát.
