¹神啊，锡安的人都等候赞美你，所许的愿也要向你偿还。
²听祷告的主啊，凡有血气的都要来就你。
³罪孽胜了我，至于我们的过犯，你都要赦免。
⁴你所拣选使他亲近你，住在你院中的，这人便为有福！我们必因你居所，你圣殿的美福知足了。
⁵拯救我们的神啊，你必以威严秉公义应允我们，你本是一切地极和海上远处的人所倚靠的。
⁶他既以大能束腰，就用力量安定诸山，
⁷使诸海的响声和其中波浪的响声，并万民的喧哗，都平静了。
⁸住在地极的人因你的神迹惧怕，你使日出日落之地都欢呼。

述神之恩泽及万物

⁹你眷顾地，降下透雨，使地大得肥美；神的河满了水。你这样浇灌了地，好为人预备五谷。

¹⁰你浇透地的犁沟，润平犁脊，降甘霖使地软和，其中发长的蒙你赐福。
¹¹你以恩典为年岁的冠冕，你的路径都滴下脂油。
¹²滴在旷野的草场上，小山以欢乐束腰，
¹³草场以羊群为衣，谷中也长满了五谷，这一切都欢呼歌唱。

English Standard Version

O God of Our Salvation

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. A Song.

65 Praise ^(A)is due to you,^[a] O God, in Zion,
    and to you shall ^(B)vows be performed.
²O you who ^(C)hear prayer,
    to you ^(D)shall all flesh come.
³When ^(E)iniquities prevail against me,
    you ^(F)atone for our transgressions.
⁴^(G)Blessed is the one you choose and bring near,
    to ^(H)dwell in your courts!
We shall be ^(I)satisfied with the goodness of your house,
    the holiness of your temple!

⁵By ^(J)awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness,
    O God of our salvation,
the hope of all ^(K)the ends of the earth
    and of the farthest seas;
⁶the one who by his strength established the mountains,
    being ^(L)girded with might;
⁷who ^(M)stills the roaring of the seas,
    the roaring of their waves,
    ^(N)the tumult of the peoples,
⁸so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs.
You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.

⁹You visit the earth and ^(O)water it;^[b]
    you greatly enrich it;
^(P)the river of God is full of water;
    ^(Q)you provide their grain,
    for so you have prepared it.
¹⁰You water its furrows abundantly,
    settling its ridges,
softening it with ^(R)showers,
    and blessing its growth.

    your wagon tracks ^(S)overflow with abundance.

¹All will stand in awe to praise You.
    Praise will sweep through Zion, the Sacred City, O God.
Solemn vows uttered to You will now be performed.
²You hear us pray in words and silence;
    all humanity comes into Your presence.
³Injustice overwhelms me!
    But You forgive our sins, restoring as only You can.
⁴You invite us near, drawing us
    into Your courts—what an honor and a privilege!
We feast until we’re full on the goodness of Your house,
    Your sacred temple made manifest.

⁵You leave us breathless when Your awesome works answer us by putting everything right.
    God of our liberation—
You are the hope of all creation, from the far corners of the earth
    to distant life-giving oceans.
⁶With immense power, You erected mountains.
    Wrapped in strength, You compelled
⁷Choppy seas,
    crashing waves,
    and crowds of people
To sit in astonished silence.
⁸Those who inhabit the boundaries of the earth are awed by Your signs,
    strong and subtle hints of Your indelible presence.
Even the dawn and dusk respond to You with joy.

⁹You spend time on the good earth,
    watering and nourishing the networks of the living.
God’s river is full of water!
    By preparing the land,
    You have provided us grain for nourishment.
¹⁰You are the gentle equalizer: soaking the furrows,
    smoothing soil’s ridges,
Softening sun-baked earth with generous showers,
    blessing the fruit of the ground.
¹¹You crown the year with a fruitful harvest;
    the paths are worn down by carts overflowing with unstoppable growth.
¹²Barren desert pastures yield fruit;
    craggy hills are now dressed for celebration.
¹³Meadows are clothed with frolicking flocks of lambs;
    valleys are covered with a carpet of autumn-harvest grain;
    the land shouts and sings in joyous celebration.

65 (For the one directing. Mizmor Dovid. Shir). Tehillah (praise) is due Thee, O Elohim, in Tziyon; And unto Thee shall the neder (vow) be performed.

²⁽³⁾O Thou that hearest tefillah (prayer), unto Thee shall kol basar come.

³⁽⁴⁾Divrei avonot (instances of iniquity) overwhelm me; as for peysha’einu (our transgressions), Thou hast made kapporah for them.

⁴⁽⁵⁾Ashrei is the one whom Thou choosest, and causest to come near unto Thee, that he may dwell in Thy khatzerot; we shall be satisfied with the tov of Thy Beis, even of Thy Heikhal Kodesh.

⁵⁽⁶⁾By nora’ot (awesome deeds, awe-inspiring things) of tzedek (justice) wilt Thou answer us, O Elohei Yish’einu (G-d of our salvation); Who art the hope of all the ends of eretz, and of them that are on the farthest seas;

⁶⁽⁷⁾Which by His ko’ach established the harim (mountains), being girded with gevurah;

⁷⁽⁸⁾Which stilleth the roar of the seas, the roar of their waves, and the tumult of the Amim (peoples, nations).

⁸⁽⁹⁾They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at Thy otot (signs); Thou makest the outgoing exits of boker and erev to resound with joy.

⁹⁽¹⁰⁾Thou visitest ha’aretz, and waterest it; Thou greatly enrichest it with the peleg Elohim (fountain of G-d), which is full of mayim; Thou preparest them dagan (grain), for so Thou didst prepare it.
