在困乏中對 神的渴慕
大衛的詩，是他在猶大曠野時作的。
63 神啊！你是我的 神，我要切切尋求你；
在乾旱、疲乏、無水之地，
我的心，我的身，
都渴想你，切慕你。
2 因此，我在聖所中瞻仰你，
為要見你的能力和榮耀。
3 因你的慈愛比生命更好，
我的嘴唇要頌讚你。
4 我要一生稱頌你，
我要奉你的名舉手禱告。
5 我的心滿足，就像飽享了骨髓肥油；
我要用歡樂的嘴唇讚美你。
6 我在床上記念你，
我整夜默想你。
7 因為你幫助了我，
我要在你翅膀的蔭下歡呼。
8 我心緊緊追隨你；
你的右手扶持我。
9 但那些尋索我、要殺我的人，
必下到地的深處。
10 他們必交在刀劍之下，
成了野狗的食物。
11 但王必因 神歡喜；
所有指著 神起誓的，都必可以誇耀；
說謊的人的口卻必被塞住。

El alma sedienta se satisface en Dios
Salmo de David, cuando estaba en el desierto de Judá[a].
63 Oh Dios, tú eres mi Dios(A); te buscaré con afán[b].
Mi alma tiene sed de ti, mi carne te anhela[c](B)
cual[d] tierra seca y árida donde no hay agua(C).
2 Así te contemplaba en el santuario,
para ver tu poder y tu gloria(D).
3 Porque tu misericordia es mejor que la vida(E),
mis labios te alabarán.
4 Así te bendeciré mientras viva(F),
en tu nombre alzaré mis manos[e](G).
5 Como con médula[f] y grosura está saciada(H) mi alma;
y con labios jubilosos te alaba mi boca(I).
6 Cuando en mi lecho me acuerdo de ti(J),
en ti medito durante las vigilias de la noche(K).
7 Porque tú has sido mi socorro(L),
y a la sombra de tus alas(M) canto gozoso.
8 A[g] ti se aferra mi alma(N);
tu diestra me sostiene(O).
9 Pero los que buscan mi vida[h] para destruirla(P),
caerán[i] a las profundidades de la tierra(Q).
10 Serán entregados al[j] poder de la espada(R);
presa[k] serán de las zorras(S).
11 Mas el rey se regocijará en Dios(T);
y todo el que por Él jura se gloriará(U),
porque la boca de los que dicen mentiras será cerrada(V).

63 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
