大衛的金詩，交給詩班長，調用“見證的百合花”，為教導用的，是在大衛與兩河之間的亞蘭，和瑣巴的亞蘭爭戰以後，並在約押歸回，在鹽谷中擊殺了一萬二千以東人以後作的。（本篇細字標題在《馬索拉文本》為60:1~2）

60 　神啊！你丟棄了我們，擊碎了我們；

你曾向我們發怒，現在求你復興我們。

²你使地震動、崩裂，

求你修補裂縫，

因為地正在搖動。

³你使你的子民遇見艱苦；

你使我們喝那令人東倒西歪的酒。

⁴你為敬畏你的人，豎起旗幟，

使他們可以逃到那裡，躲避敵人的弓箭。（“使他們可以逃到那裡，躲避敵人的弓箭”或譯：“可以為真理揚起來”）。（細拉）

⁵求你用右手拯救我們，應允我們，

好使你所喜愛的人得拯救。

⁶　神在自己的聖所（“　神在自己的聖所”或譯：“　神指著自己的聖潔”）說：

“我必誇勝，

我必分開示劍，

我必量度疏割谷。

⁷基列是我的，瑪拿西是我的；

以法蓮是我的頭盔；

猶大是我的權杖。

⁸摩押是我的洗腳盆；

我要向以東拋鞋；

我要因戰勝非利士歡呼（按照《馬索拉文本》，本句應作“非利士啊，你要因我的緣故歡呼”；現參照敘利亞抄本翻譯）。”

⁹誰能帶我進堅固城？

誰能領我到以東地去呢？

¹⁰　神啊！你不是把我們丟棄了嗎？

　神啊！你不和我們的軍隊一同出戰嗎？

¹¹求你幫助我們抵擋敵人，

因為人的援助是沒有用的。

¹²我們靠著　神奮勇作戰，

因為他必踐踏我們的敵人。

For the director of music. To the tune of “The Lily of the Covenant.” A miktam^[b] of David. For teaching. When he fought Aram Naharaim^[c] and Aram Zobah,^[d] and when Joab returned and struck down twelve thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt.^(B)

¹You have rejected us,^(C) God, and burst upon us;
    you have been angry^(D)—now restore us!^(E)
²You have shaken the land^(F) and torn it open;
    mend its fractures,^(G) for it is quaking.
³You have shown your people desperate times;^(H)
    you have given us wine that makes us stagger.^(I)
⁴But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner^(J)
    to be unfurled against the bow.^[e]

⁵Save us and help us with your right hand,^(K)
    that those you love^(L) may be delivered.
⁶God has spoken from his sanctuary:
    “In triumph I will parcel out Shechem^(M)
    and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.^(N)
⁷Gilead^(O) is mine, and Manasseh is mine;
    Ephraim^(P) is my helmet,
    Judah^(Q) is my scepter.^(R)
⁸Moab is my washbasin,
    on Edom I toss my sandal;
    over Philistia I shout in triumph.^(S)”

⁹Who will bring me to the fortified city?
    Who will lead me to Edom?
¹⁰Is it not you, God, you who have now rejected us
    and no longer go out with our armies?^(T)
¹¹Give us aid against the enemy,
    for human help is worthless.^(U)
¹²With God we will gain the victory,
    and he will trample down our enemies.^(V)

60 God, you have rejected us—
        shattered us.
    You’ve been so angry.
        Now restore us!
²You’ve made the ground quake,
        splitting it open.
    Now repair its cracks
        because it’s shaking apart!
³You’ve made your people suffer hardship;
    you’ve given us wine and we stagger.
⁴Give a flag to those who honor you,
    so they can rally around it,
    safe from attack.^[b] Selah
⁵Save us by your power and answer us
    so that the people you love might be rescued.

⁶God has spoken in his sanctuary:
    “I will celebrate as I divide up Shechem
        and portion out the Succoth Valley.
⁷    Gilead is mine;
    Manasseh is mine;
    Ephraim is my helmet;
    Judah is my scepter.
⁸    But Moab is my washbowl;
    I’ll throw my shoe at Edom.
    I shout in triumph over Philistia!^[c]
⁹    I wish someone would bring me to a fortified city!
    I wish someone would lead me to Edom!”

¹⁰But you have rejected us, God, haven’t you?
    God, you no longer accompany our armies.
¹¹Give us help against the enemy;
    human help is worthless.
¹²With God we will triumph;
    he’s the one who will trample our adversaries.
