因遭破败向神哀诉
60 大卫与两河间的亚兰并琐巴的亚兰争战的时候，约押转回，在盐谷攻击以东，杀了一万二千人。那时，大卫作这金诗叫人学习，交于伶长。调用为证的百合花。
1 神啊，你丢弃了我们，使我们破败，你向我们发怒，求你使我们复兴。
2 你使地震动，而且崩裂，求你将裂口医好，因为地摇动。
3 你叫你的民遇见艰难，你叫我们喝那使人东倒西歪的酒。
4 你把旌旗赐给敬畏你的人，可以为真理扬起来。（细拉）
倚恃神胜敌
5 求你应允我们，用右手拯救我们，好叫你所亲爱的人得救。
6 神已经指着他的圣洁说[a]：“我要欢乐，我要分开示剑，丈量疏割谷。
7 基列是我的，玛拿西也是我的。以法莲是护卫我头的，犹大是我的杖。
8 摩押是我的沐浴盆，我要向以东抛鞋。非利士啊，你还能因我欢呼吗？”
9 谁能领我进坚固城？谁能引我到以东地？
10 神啊，你不是丢弃了我们吗？神啊，你不和我们的军兵同去吗？
11 求你帮助我们攻击敌人，因为人的帮助是枉然的。
12 我们倚靠神才得施展大能，因为践踏我们敌人的就是他。

祈求上帝的幫助
大衛作的詩，交給樂長，叫人學習，調用「作證的百合花」。當時大衛跟美索不達米亞西北部和敘利亞中部的亞蘭人打仗，約押在鹽谷殺了一萬兩千以東人。
60 上帝啊，
你遺棄了我們，
使我們一敗塗地；
你曾向我們發怒，
求你現在復興我們。
2 你震動大地，將它撕裂。
求你修補裂口，
因為它要塌陷了。
3 你叫我們——你的子民吃盡苦頭，
喝了令我們東倒西歪的苦酒。
4 但你賜給敬畏你的人旗幟，
可以擋住箭羽[a]。（細拉）
5 求你應允我們的禱告，
伸出右手幫助我們，
使你所愛的人獲救。
6 上帝在祂的聖所說：
「我要歡然劃分示劍，
丈量疏割谷。
7 基列是我的，
瑪拿西也是我的，
以法蓮是我的頭盔，
猶大是我的權杖。
8 摩押是我的洗腳盆，
我要把鞋扔給以東，
我要在非利士高唱凱歌。」
9 誰能帶我進入堅固的城池？
誰能領我到以東？
10 上帝啊，你拋棄了我們嗎？
不再和我們的軍隊一同出戰了嗎？
11 求你幫助我們攻打仇敵，
因為人的幫助徒然無益。
12 我們依靠上帝才能取勝，
祂必把我們的敵人踩在腳下。

To the Chief Musician. (B)Set to [a]“Lily of the Testimony.” A Michtam of David. For teaching. (C)When he fought against Mesopotamia and Syria of Zobah, and Joab returned and killed twelve thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt.
60 O God, (D)You have cast us off;
You have broken us down;
You have been displeased;
Oh, restore us again!
2 You have made the earth tremble;
You have broken it;
(E)Heal its breaches, for it is shaking.
3 (F)You have shown Your people hard things;
(G)You have made us drink the wine of [b]confusion.
4 (H)You have given a banner to those who fear You,
That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah
5 (I)That Your beloved may be delivered,
Save with Your right hand, and hear me.
6 God has (J)spoken in His holiness:
“I will rejoice;
I will (K)divide (L)Shechem
And measure out (M)the Valley of Succoth.
7 Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine;
(N)Ephraim also is the [c]helmet for My head;
(O)Judah is My lawgiver.
8 (P)Moab is My washpot;
(Q)Over Edom I will cast My shoe;
(R)Philistia, shout in triumph because of Me.”
9 Who will bring me to the strong city?
Who will lead me to Edom?
10 Is it not You, O God, (S)who cast us off?
And You, O God, who did (T)not go out with our armies?
11 Give us help from trouble,
(U)For the help of man is useless.
12 Through God (V)we will do valiantly,
For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.
