祈愿恶人遭报

58 掌权者啊！你们真的讲公义吗（本句或译：“你们默然不语，真的讲公义吗”）？
你们真的按照正直审判世人吗？
2 不是的，你们心中策划奸恶；
你们的手在地上施行强暴（本句原文作“你们在地上称出你们手中的强暴”）。
3 恶人一出母胎，就走上歧路；
他们一离母腹，就走偏了路，常说谎话。
4 他们的毒气好象蛇的毒气，
又像耳朵塞住的聋虺，
5 不听行法术者的声音，
就是极灵的咒语，也是无效。
6 神啊！求你敲掉他们口中的牙齿；
耶和华啊！求你打断少壮狮子的颚骨。
7 愿他们像流水般消逝；
愿他们射箭的时候，箭头折断（本句原文意义不甚明确）。
8 愿他们像蜗牛般蠕行消融，
如同妇人流产未见天日的胎儿。
9 你们用荆棘烧火，锅还未热，
他要用旋风把烧着的和未烧着的一起刮去。
10 义人看见仇敌遭报就欢喜；
他要在恶人的血中洗自己的脚。
11 因此，人必说：“义人果然有善报；
在世上确有一位施行审判的 神。”

너희가 사람들을 공정하게 재판하느냐?
2 아니다.
너희가 마음속으로는 불의를 꾀하고
손으로는 이 땅에서 폭력을 일삼고 있다.
3 악한 자들은 태어나면서부터 딴 길로 가고
어머니의 태에서부터 제멋대로이며
거짓말을 한다.
4 그들은 독을 품은 뱀과 같다[c].
귀를 틀어막은 귀머거리 독사와 같다.
5 마술사가 아무리 능숙하게 음악을 연주하여도
그 노랫가락을 들은 척도 하지 않는 독사와 같다.
6 오, 하나님
그들 입 안의 이빨을 부러뜨려 주십시오.
오, 주님
젊은 사자의 송곳니를 뽑아 주십시오.
7 흘러가는 물처럼 저들을 사라지게 하시고
저들이 겨눈 활의 살이 무디어지게 하십시오.
8 움직일 때 녹아지는 달팽이처럼
죽은 채 태어난 아이처럼
저들이 햇빛을 보지 못하게 하십시오.
9 생 가시나무든, 마른 가시나무든

King James Version
58 Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
2 Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
5 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
6 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord.
7 Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
8 As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
9 Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.
10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
11 So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
