Revised Chinese Union Version (Simplified Script) Shen Edition
7 愿他们消灭,如急流的水一般;
Tehillim 58
Orthodox Jewish Bible
58 (For the one directing. Set to Do Not Destroy. Mikhtam Dovid). Do ye indeed decree tzedek, O elim (g-ds, Ex 22:28[27])? Do ye judge uprightly the Bnei Adam?
2 (3) No, in lev (heart) ye work wickedness; ye weigh out the chamas (violence) of your hands in Ha’Aretz.
3 (4) The resha’im are perverted from the rekhem (womb); gone astray from birth are they, speaking kazav (lie, falsehood).
4 (5) Their venom is like the venom of a nachash; they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth its ear;
5 (6) That it may not pay heed to the voice of charmers, casting spells ever so cunningly.
6 (7) Break their teeth, O Elohim, in their mouth; tear out the fangs of the young lions, Hashem.
7 (8) Let them melt away like draining mayim; when he bendeth his bow to shoot his khitzim (arrows), let them be crumbled to pieces.
8 (9) As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away; like the stillborn child of an isha, that they may not see the shemesh.
9 (10) Before your sirot (pots) can feel the burning thorns, may He with a whirlwind blow them away, both green and dry alike.
10 (11) The tzaddik shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance; he shall wash feet in the dahm harasha.
11 (12) So that adam shall say, Verily there is a reward for the tzaddik; verily yesh Elohim Shofetim ba’aretz (there is a G-d that judgeth in the earth).
Salmos 58
2 ¡No! Ustedes a plena conciencia cometen injusticias,
3 Los malvados se descarrían desde que nacen;
6 Rómpeles, oh Dios, los dientes;
¡arráncales, Señor, los colmillos a esos leones!
7 Que desaparezcan, como el agua que se derrama;
8 Que se disuelvan, como babosa rastrera;
9 Que sin darse cuenta, ardan como espinos;
«Ciertamente los justos son recompensados;
Psalm 58
New International Version
Psalm 58[a]
For the director of music. To the tune of “Do Not Destroy.” Of David. A miktam.[b]
1 Do you rulers indeed speak justly?(A)
Do you judge people with equity?
2 No, in your heart you devise injustice,(B)
and your hands mete out violence on the earth.(C)
3 Even from birth the wicked go astray;
from the womb they are wayward, spreading lies.
4 Their venom is like the venom of a snake,(D)
like that of a cobra that has stopped its ears,
5 that will not heed(E) the tune of the charmer,(F)
however skillful the enchanter may be.
6 Break the teeth in their mouths, O God;(G)
Lord, tear out the fangs of those lions!(H)
7 Let them vanish like water that flows away;(I)
when they draw the bow, let their arrows fall short.(J)
8 May they be like a slug that melts away as it moves along,(K)
like a stillborn child(L) that never sees the sun.
9 Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns(M)—
whether they be green or dry—the wicked will be swept away.[c](N)
10 The righteous will be glad(O) when they are avenged,(P)
when they dip their feet in the blood of the wicked.(Q)
11 Then people will say,
“Surely the righteous still are rewarded;(R)
surely there is a God who judges the earth.”(S)
