¹⁵愿死亡突然抓住我的仇敌，
愿他们活活地下阴间，

¹⁵Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.

¹⁶As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.

¹⁷Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

¹⁵Let death take my enemies by surprise;^(A)
let them go down alive to the realm of the dead,^(B)
for evil finds lodging among them.

¹⁶As for me, I call to God,
    and the Lord saves me.
