祈求上帝的拯救

西弗人去告訴掃羅：「大衛藏在我們那裡」，那時大衛作了這首訓誨詩，交給樂長，用弦樂器。

54 上帝啊，
求你憑你的名拯救我！
求你用你的大能為我伸冤！
²上帝啊，求你垂聽我的禱告，
留心我口中的話。
³因為傲慢的人起來攻擊我，
目無上帝的暴徒正尋索我的性命。（細拉）
⁴看啊，上帝幫助我，主扶持我，
⁵祂必使我的仇敵自作自受。
信實的上帝啊，
求你毀滅他們。
⁶耶和華啊，
我甘心樂意獻上祭物，
我要讚美你的名，
因為你的名是美善的。
⁷你拯救我脫離一切艱難，
讓我傲視仇敵。

For the choir director. With stringed instruments. A ^[a]Maskil of David. ^[b]When the Ziphites came and said to Saul, “Is not David hiding himself among us?”

54 O God, save me by ^(A)Your name,
And render justice to me by ^(B)Your might.
²^(C)O God, hear my prayer;
^(D)Give ear to the words of my mouth.
³For strangers have ^(E)risen against me
And ^(F)ruthless men have ^(G)sought my ^[c]life;
They have ^(H)not set God before them. ^[d]Selah.

⁴Behold, ^(I)God is my helper;
The Lord is among those who ^(J)sustain my soul.
⁵He will ^(K)return the evil to my foes;
^(L)Destroy them ^(M)in Your truth.

⁶^(N)With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to You;
I will give ^(O)thanks to Your name, O Yahweh, for it is good.
⁷For ^[e]He has ^(P)delivered me from all ^[f]distress,
And my eye has ^(Q)looked in triumph upon my enemies.

¹Save me^(B), O God, by your name;^(C)
vindicate me by your might.^(D)
²Hear my prayer, O God;^(E)
listen to the words of my mouth.

³Arrogant foes are attacking me;^(F)
ruthless people^(G) are trying to kill me^(H)—
people without regard for God.^[c]^(I)

⁴Surely God is my help;^(J)
the Lord is the one who sustains me.^(K)

⁵Let evil recoil^(L) on those who slander me;
in your faithfulness^(M) destroy them.

⁶I will sacrifice a freewill offering^(N) to you;
I will praise^(O) your name, Lord, for it is good.^(P)
⁷You have delivered me^(Q) from all my troubles,
and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes.^(R)

54 Save me, O God, by Your name,
And vindicate me by Your strength.
²Hear my prayer, O God;
Give ear to the words of my mouth.
³For strangers have risen up against me,
And oppressors have sought after my life;
They have not set God before them. Selah

⁴Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who ^[c]uphold my life.
⁵He will repay my enemies for their evil.
^[d]Cut them off in Your ^[e]truth.

⁶I will freely sacrifice to You;
I will praise Your name, O Lord, for it is good.
⁷For He has delivered me out of all trouble;
^(B)And my eye has seen its desire upon my enemies.
