遭敌迫害求主扶助
54 西弗人来对扫罗说：“大卫岂不是在我们那里藏身吗？”那时，大卫作这训诲诗，交于伶长。用丝弦的乐器。
1 神啊，求你以你的名救我，凭你的大能为我申冤。
2 神啊，求你听我的祷告，留心听我口中的言语。
3 因为外人起来攻击我，强暴人寻索我的命，他们眼中没有神。（细拉）
4 神是帮助我的，是扶持我命的。
5 他要报应我仇敌所行的恶，求你凭你的诚实灭绝他们。
6 我要把甘心祭献给你，耶和华啊，我要称赞你的名，这名本为美好。
7 他从一切的急难中把我救出来，我的眼睛也看见了我仇敌遭报。

Ao regente do coral: salmo[a] de Davi sobre a ocasião em que os zifeus vieram e disseram a Saul: “Davi está escondido entre nós”. Para ser acompanhado com instrumentos de cordas.
54 Vem com a força do teu nome, ó Deus, e salva-me!
Defende-me com teu grande poder.
2 Ouve minha oração, ó Deus;
escuta minha súplica.
3 Pois desconhecidos me atacam,
pessoas violentas tentam me matar;
eles não se importam com Deus.
Interlúdio
4 Deus, porém, é meu auxílio;
o Senhor me mantém com vida.
5 Que as tramas perversas de meus inimigos se voltem contra eles;
destrói-os, como prometeste.
6 Oferecerei a ti um sacrifício voluntário;
louvarei teu nome, ó Senhor,
porque és bom.
7 Pois me livraste de minhas aflições
e me ajudaste a vencer meus inimigos.

For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments. Maschil of David; when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, Doth not David hide himself with us?
54 Save me, O God, by thy name,
And judge me in thy might.
2 Hear my prayer, O God;
Give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers are risen up against me,
And violent men have sought after my soul:
They have not set God before them. Selah
4 Behold, God is my helper:
The Lord is [a]of them that uphold my soul.
5 [b]He will requite the evil unto [c]mine enemies:
Destroy thou them in thy truth.
6 With a freewill-offering will I sacrifice unto thee:
I will give thanks unto thy name, O Jehovah, for it is good.
7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble;
And mine eye hath seen my desire upon mine enemies.
