愚顽世人必遭 神弃绝(A)篇）
大卫的训诲诗，交给诗班长，调用“麻拉”。
53 愚顽人心里说：“没有 神。”
他们都是败坏，行了可憎的不义；
没有一个行善的。
2 神从天上察看世人，
要看看有明慧的没有，
有寻求 神的没有，
3 他们各人都偏离了正道，一同变成污秽；
没有行善的，连一个也没有。
4 作恶的都是无知的吗？
他们吞吃我的子民好象吃饭一样，
并不求告 神。
5 他们在无可惊惧的时候，必大大震惊；
因为 神把那些扎营攻击你的人的骨头击散了；
他们蒙羞受辱，因为 神弃绝了他们。
6 但愿以色列的救恩从锡安而出；
神给他子民带来复兴的时候（“ 神给他子民带来复兴的时候”或译：“ 神把他被掳的子民带回来的时候”），
雅各要快乐，以色列要欢喜。
Psalm 53
American Standard Version
The folly and wickedness of men.
For the Chief Musician; set to Mahalath. Maschil of David.
53 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.
Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity;
There is none that doeth good.
2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men,
To see if there were any that did [a]understand,
That did seek after God.
3 Every one of them is gone back; they are together become filthy;
There is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge,
Who eat up my people as they eat bread,
And call not upon God?
5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was;
For God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee:
Thou hast put them to shame, because God hath rejected them.
6 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion!
When God [b]bringeth back the captivity of his people,
Then shall Jacob rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

2 Les insensés pensent : ╵« Dieu n’existe pas. »
Ils sont corrompus, ╵ils commettent ╵des actes iniques ╵et abominables,
et aucun ne fait le bien[d].
3 Du haut du ciel, Dieu observe ╵tout le genre humain :
« Reste-t-il un homme sage
qui s’attend à Dieu ?
4 Ils se sont tous fourvoyés, ╵tous sont corrompus,
et aucun ne fait le bien,
même pas un seul.
5 Ceux qui font le mal ╵n’ont-ils rien compris ?
Car ils dévorent mon peuple, ╵tout comme on mange du pain[e] !
Jamais ils n’invoquent Dieu ! »
6 Ils sont saisis d’épouvante,
quand il n’y a rien à craindre,
car Dieu disperse les os ╵de ceux qui t’attaquent,
tu les couvriras de honte, ╵car Dieu les a rejetés.
7 Ah, que vienne du mont de Sion ╵le salut pour Israël !
Quand Dieu changera le sort ╵de son peuple,
Jacob criera d’allégresse, ╵Israël, de joie.
