上帝的审判和慈爱
以东人多益去告诉扫罗：“大卫到了亚希米勒家。”那时大卫作了这首训诲诗，交给乐长。
52 勇士啊，你为何以作恶为荣？
上帝的慈爱永远长存。
2 你这诡诈的人啊，
舌头利如剃刀，
尽是害人的奸计。
3 你喜爱邪恶，不爱良善；
你喜爱虚谎，不爱真理。（细拉）
4 你有诡诈的舌头，
好说恶言恶语。
5 上帝必永远毁灭你，
祂必抓住你，
把你从家里拉出来，
从活人之地铲除。（细拉）
6 义人看见必心生敬畏，
他们必嘲笑说：
7 “看啊，这就是不依靠上帝的人，
他只倚仗自己的财富和以残暴手段获得的权势。”
8 我就像上帝殿中的一棵橄榄树，枝繁叶茂，
我永永远远信靠上帝的慈爱。
9 上帝啊，
我要永远赞美你的作为。
我要在你忠心的子民面前仰望你美善的名。

大卫的训诲诗，交给诗班长，是在以东人多益来告诉扫罗：“大卫到了亚希米勒家”以后作的。（本篇细字标题在《马索拉文本》为52:1~2）
52 勇士啊！你为甚么以作恶自夸呢？
神的慈爱是常存的。
2 你图谋毁灭，
你的舌头锋利像剃刀，
常弄诡诈。
3 你喜爱作恶过于行善，
喜爱撒谎过于说实话。（细拉）
4 你喜爱你诡诈的舌头，
所说一切毁灭人的话。
5 神必把你永远拆毁；
他必把你挪去，把你从帐棚中揪出来，
把你从活人之地连根拔起。（细拉）
6 义人必看见而惧怕；
他们必讥笑他，说：
7 “看哪！这就是那不以 神为自己保障的人，
他只倚靠自己丰盛的财富，
以毁灭别人来加强自己的力量。”
8 至于我，我就像神殿中茂盛的橄榄树一样；
我倚靠 神的慈爱，直到永永远远。
9 我要永远称谢你，因为你行了这事；
我必在你圣民的面前，宣扬（“宣扬”原文作“仰望”）你的名，
因你的名是美好的。

2 Dopo che l'idumeo Doeg venne da Saul per informarlo e dirgli: «Davide è entrato in casa di Abimelech».
3 Perché ti vanti del male
o prepotente nella tua iniquità?
4 Ordisci insidie ogni giorno;
la tua lingua è come lama affilata,
artefice di inganni.
5 Tu preferisci il male al bene,
la menzogna al parlare sincero.
6 Ami ogni parola di rovina,
o lingua di impostura.
7 Perciò Dio ti demolirà per sempre,
ti spezzerà e ti strapperà dalla tenda
e ti sradicherà dalla terra dei viventi.
8 Vedendo, i giusti saran presi da timore
e di lui rideranno:
9 «Ecco l'uomo che non ha posto in Dio la sua difesa,
ma confidava nella sua grande ricchezza
e si faceva forte dei suoi crimini».
10 Io invece come olivo verdeggiante
nella casa di Dio.
Mi abbandono alla fedeltà di Dio
ora e per sempre.
11 Voglio renderti grazie in eterno
per quanto hai operato;
spero nel tuo nome, perché è buono,
davanti ai tuoi fedeli.

For the director of music. A maskil[b] of David. When Doeg the Edomite(A) had gone to Saul and told him: “David has gone to the house of Ahimelek.”
1 Why do you boast of evil, you mighty hero?
Why do you boast(B) all day long,(C)
you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God?
2 You who practice deceit,(D)
your tongue plots destruction;(E)
it is like a sharpened razor.(F)
3 You love evil(G) rather than good,
falsehood(H) rather than speaking the truth.[c]
4 You love every harmful word,
you deceitful tongue!(I)
5 Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin:
He will snatch you up and pluck(J) you from your tent;
he will uproot(K) you from the land of the living.(L)
6 The righteous will see and fear;
they will laugh(M) at you, saying,
7 “Here now is the man
who did not make God his stronghold(N)
but trusted in his great wealth(O)
and grew strong by destroying others!”
