陷害人的必遭 神報應
大衛的訓誨詩，交給詩班長，是在以東人多益來告訴掃羅：“大衛到了亞希米勒家”以後作的。（本篇細字標題在《馬索拉文本》為52:1~2）
52 勇士啊！你為甚麼以作惡自誇呢？
神的慈愛是常存的。
2 你圖謀毀滅，
你的舌頭鋒利像剃刀，
常弄詭詐。
3 你喜愛作惡過於行善，
喜愛撒謊過於說實話。（細拉）
4 你喜愛你詭詐的舌頭，
所說一切毀滅人的話。
5 神必把你永遠拆毀；
他必把你挪去，把你從帳棚中揪出來，
把你從活人之地連根拔起。（細拉）
6 義人必看見而懼怕；
他們必譏笑他，說：
7 “看哪！這就是那不以 神為自己保障的人，
他只倚靠自己豐盛的財富，
以毀滅別人來加強自己的力量。”
8 至於我，我就像神殿中茂盛的橄欖樹一樣；
我倚靠 神的慈愛，直到永永遠遠。
9 我要永遠稱謝你，因為你行了這事；
我必在你聖民的面前，宣揚（“宣揚”原文作“仰望”）你的名，
因你的名是美好的。

52 «Al maestro del coro. Cantico di Davide, quando Doeg l'Edomita venne a riferire a Saul che Davide era entrato in casa di Ahimelek.» Perché ti vanti del male, o uomo potente? La benignità di DIO dura per sempre.
2 La tua lingua macchina rovina; essa è come un rasoio affilato, o operatore d'inganni.
3 Tu preferisci il male al bene, la menzogna piú che il parlare rettamente. (Sela)
4 Tu ami ogni parola di distruzione o lingua fraudolenta.
5 Perciò DIO ti distruggerà per sempre; egli ti afferrerà ti strapperà dalla tua tenda e ti sradicherà dalla terra dei viventi. (Sela)
6 I giusti lo vedranno e temeranno e rideranno di lui, dicendo:
7 «Ecco l'uomo che non aveva fatto di DIO la sua fortezza, ma confidava nell'abbondanza delle sue ricchezze e si faceva forte della sua malvagità».
8 Ma io sono come un ulivo verdeggiante nella casa di DIO; io confido sempre nella benignità di DIO.
9 Ti celebrerò per sempre per quanto hai fatto, e alla presenza dei tuoi santi spererò fermamente nel tuo nome, perché è buono.

For the director of music. A maskil[b] of David. When Doeg the Edomite(A) had gone to Saul and told him: “David has gone to the house of Ahimelek.”
1 Why do you boast of evil, you mighty hero?
Why do you boast(B) all day long,(C)
you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God?
2 You who practice deceit,(D)
your tongue plots destruction;(E)
it is like a sharpened razor.(F)
3 You love evil(G) rather than good,
falsehood(H) rather than speaking the truth.[c]
4 You love every harmful word,
you deceitful tongue!(I)
5 Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin:
He will snatch you up and pluck(J) you from your tent;
he will uproot(K) you from the land of the living.(L)
6 The righteous will see and fear;
they will laugh(M) at you, saying,
7 “Here now is the man
who did not make God his stronghold(N)
but trusted in his great wealth(O)
and grew strong by destroying others!”

52 1-2 Til korlederen: En visdomssang af David, dengang Edomitten Doeg fortalte Saul, at David havde søgt hjælp hos Ahimelek.[a]
3 Hvorfor prale af din ondskab, du stærke mand?
Gud er trofast, og han beskytter mig dag efter dag.
4 Hele tiden lægger du onde planer.
Dine ord er dødbringende som skarpe knive.
5 Du foretrækker ondt frem for godt,
løgn frem for sandhed.
6 Du elsker at sige noget, som kan skade andre.
Hvor er du fuld af falskhed.
7 Men Gud vil gøre det af med dig,
rive dig bort fra dit hjem,
rykke dig op fra de levendes land.
8 Når de gudfrygtige ser det, vil de gyse,
de vil håne dig og sige:
9 „Sådan går det dem,
der ikke regner med Gud,
men stoler på deres rigdom
og praler af deres ondskab.”
10 Men jeg er som et frodigt oliventræ,
der trives i Herrens hus.
Jeg stoler altid på hans trofasthed og nåde.
11 Herre, jeg vil takke dig for alt, hvad du gør for mig,
jeg vil forkynde din godhed i dine tjeneres nærvær.
