Psalm 47
King James Version

47 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

2 For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

5 God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.

6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.

47 Hỡi các dân, hãy vỗ tay.
    Hãy reo mừng chiến thắng cho Đức Chúa Trời.
2 Vì CHÚA Chí Cao[a] thật đáng kính sợ,
    Là Vua lớn trên toàn trái đất.
3 Ngài khiến các dân quy phục chúng tôi,
    Làm các nước phục dưới chân chúng tôi.
4 Ngài chọn cơ nghiệp cho chúng tôi,
    Là niềm kiêu hãnh của Gia-cốp[b] người Ngài yêu mến. Sê-la
5 Đức Chúa Trời ngự lên trong tiếng reo hò chiến thắng,
    CHÚA đi lên giữa tiếng kèn vang dậy.
6 Hãy hát lên ca ngợi Đức Chúa Trời, hãy hát lên.
    Hãy hát lên ca ngợi Vua chúng ta, hãy hát lên.
7 Vì Đức Chúa Trời là vua của cả trái đất.
    Hãy hát thánh thi[c] mà ca ngợi Ngài.
8 Đức Chúa Trời cai trị các nước,
    Đức Chúa Trời ngự trên ngôi thánh Ngài.
9 Hoàng tử của thế gian nhóm họp lại
    Làm dân Đức Chúa Trời của Áp-ra-ham.
Vì các bậc quyền thế[d] trên đất đều thuộc về Đức Chúa Trời.
    Ngài được tôn rất cao.

Psalm 47[a]

For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.

1 Clap your hands,(A) all you nations;
    shout to God with cries of joy.(B)

2 For the Lord Most High(C) is awesome,(D)
    the great King(E) over all the earth.
3 He subdued(F) nations under us,
    peoples under our feet.
4 He chose our inheritance(G) for us,
    the pride of Jacob,(H) whom he loved.[b]

5 God has ascended(I) amid shouts of joy,(J)
    the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.(K)
6 Sing praises(L) to God, sing praises;
    sing praises to our King, sing praises.
7 For God is the King of all the earth;(M)
    sing to him a psalm(N) of praise.

8 God reigns(O) over the nations;
    God is seated on his holy throne.(P)
9 The nobles of the nations assemble
    as the people of the God of Abraham,
for the kings[c] of the earth belong to God;(Q)
    he is greatly exalted.(R)
