颂赞君王的威荣与婚礼
可拉子孙的训诲诗，又是爱歌，交给诗班长，调用“百合花”。
45 我心里涌出优美的言辞；
我要为王朗诵我的作品；
我的舌头像经验丰富的作家的笔。
2 你比世人都美好；
你的嘴唇吐出恩言；
因此， 神赐福给你，直到永远。
3 大能者啊！愿你腰间佩上刀，
彰显你的尊荣和威严。
4 在你的威严中，为了真理、谦卑和公义的缘故，
你胜利地乘车前进；
愿你的右手施行可畏的事。
5 你的箭锐利，
射中了王的仇敌的心；
万民都仆倒在你脚下。
6 神啊！你的宝座是永永远远的，
你国的权杖是公平的权杖。
7 你喜爱公义，恨恶邪恶，
所以， 神，就是你的 神，
用喜乐的油膏抹你，胜过膏抹你的同伴。
8 你的衣服都有没药、沉香和肉桂的香气；
从象牙宫里有丝弦的乐声，使你欢喜。
9 你的贵妃中有众君王的女儿；
王后佩戴着俄斐的金饰，站在你的右边。
10 王所爱的女子啊！你要听，要看，要留心地听；
你要忘记你的本族和你的父家；
11 王就爱慕你的美丽；
因为他是你的主，
你要向他俯伏。
12 推罗的居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）必带着礼物而来；
民间富有的人要向你求恩。
13 王所爱的女子在宫里，极其荣华；
她的衣服全是用金线绣成的。
14 她身穿刺绣的衣服，被引到王的面前；
她后面伴随的童女，

15 她们欢喜快乐被引到王那里；
她们要进入王宫。
16 你的子孙必接续你的列祖；

موسیقی کے ہدایت کا ر کے لئے شو شینیم کے سُر پر بنی قورح کی طرف سے ایک نغمہ
45 نفیس لفظ میرے دل میں بھر جا تے ہیں،
جب میں بادشا ہ کے لئے با تیں لکھتا ہوں۔
میری زبان پر لفظ ایسے آنے لگتے ہیں
جیسے وہ کسی ما ہر مصنّف کے قلم سے نکل رہے ہوں۔
2 تو بنی آدم میں دوسروں کے بہ نسبت سب سے زیادہ حسین ہے۔
تو ایک بہترین مقرر ہے۔ اِس لئے خدا نے تجھے ہمیشہ کیلئے مبا رک کیا۔
3 تو اپنی تلوا ر رکھ۔ تو اپنا پُر شوکت لباس پہن!
4 تو حیرت انگیز ہے۔ جا، انصاف اور صدا قت کے لئے جنگ جیت۔
حیرت انگیز کا ر نا مے انجام دینے کے لئے اپنے طا قتور داہنے ہاتھ کا استعما ل کر۔
5 تیرے تیر نہایت تیز ہیں۔
تو بہت سی قوموں کو شکست دیگا۔ تو اپنے دشمنوں پر بادشاہ بن کر حکومت کرے گا۔
6 اے خدا تیرا تخت ابدالآباد ہے۔
تیری سلطنت کا عصا راستی کا عصا ہے۔
7 تو نیکی سے محبت اور بُرا ئی سے نفرت کر تا ہے۔
اِس لئے خدا، تیرے خدا نے تیرے دوستوں کے اوپر تجھے بادشاہ چُنا ہے۔ [a]
8 تیرے لباس سے مُر اور مصبّر اور تیج پات کی خوشبو آتی ہے۔
ہا تھی دانت سے سجائے محلوں میں سے تجھے خوش کر نے کے لئے موسیقی آتی ہے۔
9 تیری معزز خوا تین میں شاہزادیاں ہیں۔
تیری رانی خالص سونے سے بنے تاج پہنے تیری داہنی طرف کھڑی ہے۔
10 اے شہزادی ! میری بات کو سُن۔ پوری طرح غور سے سن۔
تب تو میری بات کو سمجھے گی۔
تو اپنی قوم اور اپنے باپ کے گھر کو بھول جا۔
11 بادشاہ تیرے حسن کا مشتاق ہے۔
کیوں کہ وہ تیرا آقاہے
تو اسے سجدہ کر۔
12 صُور نگر کے لوگ تیرے لئے تحفہ لا ئیں گے
اور دولتمند تجھ سے ملنا چاہیں گے۔
13 وہ شہزادی اُس قیمتی زیور کی مانند ہے
جسے حسین اور قیمتی سونے سے آراستہ کیا گیا ہو۔
14 وہ بیل بوُٹے دار خوبصورت لباس میں بادشاہ کے حضور پیش کی جا ئے گی۔
اور کنواری سہیلیاں جو اس کے پیچھے چلتی ہیں تیرے سامنے حاضر کی جا ئیں گی۔
15 وہ یہاں خوشی سے آتے ہیں۔
وہ شادماں ہو کر محل میں داخل ہوتے ہیں۔
16 اے بادشاہ، تیرے بعد تیرے بیٹے جانشین ہوں گے
تو انہیں رُوئے زمین کا سردار مقّرر کرے گا۔
17 میں تیرے نام کی یاد کو نسل در نسل قائم رکھوں گا۔
اس لئے اقوام ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کے لئے تیری ستائش کریں گے۔

Psalm 45
King James Version
45 My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
2 Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
3 Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.
4 And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
5 Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.
6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
8 All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.
9 Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
10 Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house;
11 So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.
12 And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.
13 The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.
14 She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.
15 With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.
16 Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.
17 I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
