祈求 神一如昔日施行拯救
可拉子孫的訓誨詩，交給詩班長。
44 神啊！你在古時，
在我們列祖的日子所作的事，
我們親耳聽見了，
我們的列祖也給我們述說過。
2 你曾親手把列國趕出去，
卻栽培了我們的列祖；
你曾苦待眾民，
卻使我們的列祖昌盛。
3 因為他們取得那地，不是靠自己的刀劍；
他們得勝，也不是靠自己的膀臂；
而是靠你的右手、你的膀臂和你臉上的光，
因為你喜悅他們。
4 神啊！你是我的王；
求你出令，使雅各得勝。
5 我們靠著你，必打倒我們的敵人；
靠著你的名，必踐踏那些起來攻擊我們的。
6 因為我不是倚靠我的弓，
我的刀劍也不能使我得勝。
7 但你使我們勝過了我們的敵人，
使憎恨我們的人都羞愧。
8 我們整天因 神誇耀，
我們要永遠稱讚你的名。（細拉）
9 現在，你卻棄絕我們，使我們受辱，
不再和我們的軍隊一同出征。
10 你使我們在敵人面前轉身後退；
憎恨我們的人都任意搶掠。
11 你使我們像給人宰吃的羊，
把我們分散在列國中。
12 你把你的子民廉價出售；
他們的售價並沒有使你得到利益。
13 你使我們成為鄰居的羞辱，
成為我們四周的人譏笑和諷刺的對象。
14 你使我們在列國中成為話柄，
在萬民中使人搖頭。
15 我的羞辱整天在我面前，

又以死亡的陰影籠罩我們。
20 如果我們忘記了我們 神的名，
或是向別神伸手禱告；
21 神不會查究這事嗎？
因為他知道人心的隱祕。
22 為你的緣故，我們終日被置於死地；
人看我們如同將宰的羊。
23 主啊！求你醒來，為甚麼還睡著呢？
求你起來，不要永遠棄絕我們。
24 你為甚麼掩面，
忘記了我們的苦難和壓迫呢？
25 我們俯伏在塵土之上；
我們的身體緊貼地面。
26 求你起來幫助我們，
為了你慈愛的緣故救贖我們。

2 你曾用手赶出外邦人，却栽培了我们列祖；你苦待列邦，却叫我们列祖发达。
3 因为他们不是靠自己的刀剑得地土，也不是靠自己的膀臂得胜，乃是靠你的右手、你的膀臂和你脸上的亮光，因为你喜悦他们。
4 神啊，你是我的王，求你出令使雅各得胜。
5 我们靠你要推倒我们的敌人，靠你的名要践踏那起来攻击我们的人。
6 因为我必不靠我的弓，我的刀也不能使我得胜。
7 唯你救了我们脱离敌人，使恨我们的人羞愧。
8 我们终日因神夸耀，还要永远称谢你的名。（细拉）
陈述己身今时之苦
9 但如今你丢弃了我们，使我们受辱，不和我们的军兵同去。
10 你使我们向敌人转身退后，那恨我们的人任意抢夺。
11 你使我们当做快要被吃的羊，把我们分散在列邦中。
12 你卖了你的子民也不赚利，所得的价值并不加添你的资财。
13 你使我们受邻国的羞辱，被四围的人嗤笑讥刺。
14 你使我们在列邦中做了笑谈，使众民向我们摇头。
15 我的凌辱终日在我面前，我脸上的羞愧将我遮蔽，
16 都因那辱骂毁谤人的声音，又因仇敌和报仇人的缘故。
17 这都临到我们身上，我们却没有忘记你，也没有违背你的约。
18 我们的心没有退后，我们的脚也没有偏离你的路。
19 你在野狗之处压伤我们，用死荫遮蔽我们。
20 倘若我们忘了神的名，或向别神举手，
21 神岂不鉴察这事吗？因为他晓得人心里的隐秘。
22 我们为你的缘故终日被杀，人看我们如将宰的羊。
23 主啊，求你睡醒！为何尽睡呢？求你兴起，不要永远丢弃我们！
24 你为何掩面，不顾我们所遭的苦难和所受的欺压？
25 我们的性命伏于尘土，我们的肚腹紧贴地面。
26 求你起来帮助我们，凭你的慈爱救赎我们！

King James Version
44 We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.
2 How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
3 For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
4 Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.
5 Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
6 For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
7 But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.
8 In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.
9 But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies.
10 Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us spoil for themselves.
11 Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen.
12 Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price.
13 Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.
14 Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.
15 My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me,
16 For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger.
17 All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.
18 Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way;
19 Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.
20 If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;
21 Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
22 Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
23 Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.
24 Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?
25 For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.
26 Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies' sake.
