诗篇卷二
在异地渴慕朝见 神
可拉子孙的训诲诗，交给诗班长。
42 神啊！我的心渴慕你，
好象鹿渴慕溪水。
2 我的心渴想 神，就是永活的 神；
我甚么时候可以来朝见 神的面呢？
3 人整天对我说：“你的 神在哪里呢？”
我就昼夜以眼泪当饭吃。
4 我从前常常和群众同去，
与他们进到 神的殿里，
在欢呼和称谢声中，大家守节。
每逢想起这些事，我的心就感到难过。
5 我的心哪！你为甚么沮丧呢？
为甚么在我里面不安呢？
应当等候 神；
因为我还要称赞他，
他是我面前的救助、我的 神。
6 我的心在我里面沮丧；
因此我从约旦地，从黑门岭，
从米萨山，记念你。
7 你的瀑布一发声，深渊就和深渊响应；
你的洪涛和波浪都掩盖了我。
8 白天耶和华赐下他的慈爱；
夜间我要向他歌颂，
向赐我生命的 神祷告。
9 我要对 神我的盘石说：
“你为甚么忘记我呢？
我为甚么因仇敌的压迫徘徊悲哀呢？”
10 我的敌人整天对我说：
“你的 神在哪里呢？”
他们这样辱骂我的时候，
就像在击碎我的骨头。
11 我的心哪！你为甚么沮丧呢？
为甚么在我里面不安呢？
应当等候 神；
因为我还要称赞他，
他是我面前的救助、我的 神。

42 (A) För körledaren. En vishetspsalm
av Koras söner.[a]
2 Som hjorten längtar till vattenbäckar,
så längtar min själ efter dig, o Gud.
3 (B) Min själ törstar efter Gud,
efter den levande Guden.
När får jag komma och träda fram
inför Guds ansikte?
4 (C) Mina tårar är min mat
dag och natt.
Ständigt säger man till mig:
"Var är din Gud?"
5 Jag utgjuter min själ
och minns hur jag gick
bland folket,
hur jag vandrade med dem
till Guds hus,
med jubelrop och tacksägelse
i skaran av högtidsfirare.
6 (D) Varför så bedrövad, min själ,
varför så orolig i mig?
Hoppas på Gud.
Jag ska åter få tacka honom,
min frälsning och min Gud.
7 (E) Min själ är bedrövad i mig.
Därför tänker jag på dig
i Jordans land
och på Hermons höjder,
på Misars berg[b].[c]
8 (F) Djup ropar till djup
i dånet av dina vattenfall.
Alla dina svallande böljor
sköljer över mig.
9 (G) Om dagen sänder Herren sin nåd,
och om natten
är hans sång hos mig,
en bön till mitt livs Gud.
10 (H) Jag vill säga till Gud, min klippa:
"Varför har du glömt mig?
Varför måste jag gå sörjande,
trängd av fiender?"
11 (I) Det är som att man krossar mina ben
när mina fiender hånar mig
och ständigt frågar mig:
"Var är din Gud?"
12 (J) Varför så bedrövad, min själ,
varför så orolig i mig?
Hoppas på Gud.
Jag ska åter få tacka honom,
min frälsning och min Gud.

Psalm 42
To the chief Musician, Maschil, for the sons of Korah.
1 As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God?
3 My tears have been my meat day and night,
while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?
4 When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me:
for I had gone with the multitude,
I went with them to the house of God,
with the voice of joy and praise,
with a multitude that kept holyday.
5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted in me?
hope thou in God:
for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
6 O my God, my soul is cast down within me:
therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan,
and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar.
7 Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts:
all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.
8 Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the daytime,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life.
9 I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me?
why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
10 As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me;
while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God?
11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
