在異地渴慕朝見 神
可拉子孫的訓誨詩，交給詩班長。
42 神啊！我的心渴慕你，
好像鹿渴慕溪水。
2 我的心渴想 神，就是永活的 神；
我甚麼時候可以來朝見 神的面呢？
3 人整天對我說：“你的 神在哪裡呢？”
我就晝夜以眼淚當飯吃。
4 我從前常常和群眾同去，
與他們進到 神的殿裡，
在歡呼和稱謝聲中，大家守節。
每逢想起這些事，我的心就感到難過。
5 我的心哪！你為甚麼沮喪呢？
為甚麼在我裡面不安呢？
應當等候 神；
因為我還要稱讚他，
他是我面前的救助、我的 神。
6 我的心在我裡面沮喪；
因此我從約旦地，從黑門嶺，
從米薩山，記念你。
7 你的瀑布一發聲，深淵就和深淵響應；
你的洪濤和波浪都掩蓋了我。
8 白天耶和華賜下他的慈愛；
夜間我要向他歌頌，
向賜我生命的 神禱告。
9 我要對 神我的磐石說：
“你為甚麼忘記我呢？
我為甚麼因仇敵的壓迫徘徊悲哀呢？”
10 我的敵人整天對我說：
“你的 神在哪裡呢？”
他們這樣辱罵我的時候，
就像在擊碎我的骨頭。
11 我的心哪！你為甚麼沮喪呢？
為甚麼在我裡面不安呢？
應當等候 神；
因為我還要稱讚他，
他是我面前的救助、我的 神。

42 （ 可 拉 後 裔 的 训 诲 诗 ， 交 与 伶 长 。 ） 神 啊 ， 我 的 心 切 慕 你 ， 如 鹿 切 慕 溪 水 。
2 我 的 心 渴 想 神 ， 就 是 永 生 神 ； 我 几 时 得 朝 见 神 呢 ？
3 我 昼 夜 以 眼 泪 当 饮 食 ； 人 不 住 地 对 我 说 ： 你 的 神 在 哪 里 呢 ？
4 我 从 前 与 众 人 同 往 ， 用 欢 呼 称 赞 的 声 音 领 他 们 到 神 的 殿 里 ， 大 家 守 节 。 我 追 想 这 些 事 ， 我 的 心 极 其 悲 伤 。
5 我 的 心 哪 ， 你 为 何 忧 闷 ？ 为 何 在 我 里 面 烦 躁 ？ 应 当 仰 望 神 ， 因 他 笑 脸 帮 助 我 ； 我 还 要 称 赞 他 。

Longing for God
For the choir director. A Maskil of the sons of Korah.
1 As a deer longs for flowing streams,
so I long for you, God.(A)
2 I thirst for God, the living God.
When can I come and appear before God?(B)
3 My tears have been my food day and night,
while all day long people say to me,
“Where is your God?” (C)
4 I remember this as I pour out my heart:(D)
how I walked with many,
leading the festive procession to the house of God,
with joyful and thankful shouts.(E)
5 Why, my soul, are you so dejected?
Why are you in such turmoil?
Put your hope in God, for I will still praise him,
my Savior and my God.(F)
6 I[a] am deeply depressed;
therefore I remember you from the land of Jordan
and the peaks of Hermon, from Mount Mizar.(G)
7 Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls;
all your breakers and your billows have swept over me.(H)
8 The Lord will send his faithful love by day;(I)
his song will be with me in the night—
a prayer to the God of my life.
9 I will say to God, my rock,(J)
“Why have you forgotten me?
Why must I go about in sorrow
because of the enemy’s oppression?” (K)
10 My adversaries taunt me,
as if crushing my bones,
while all day long they say to me,
“Where is your God?” (L)
11 Why, my soul, are you so dejected?
