病中的禱告
大衛的詩，交給樂長。
41 善待窮人的有福了！
耶和華必救他們脫離困境。
2 耶和華必保護他們，
救他們的性命，
使他們在地上享福，
不讓仇敵惡謀得逞。
3 他們生病在床，
耶和華必看顧，
使他們康復。
4 我禱告說：「耶和華啊，
求你憐憫我，醫治我，
因為我得罪了你。」
5 我的仇敵惡狠狠地說：
「他何時才會死，
並且被人遺忘呢？」
6 他們來看我時，
心懷惡意，滿口謊言，
出去後散佈流言。
7 所有恨我的人都交頭接耳，
設計害我。
8 他們說：「他患了惡病，
再也起不來了！」
9 連我所信賴、吃我飯的摯友也用腳踢我。
10 耶和華啊，
求你憐憫我，叫我痊癒，
我好報復他們。
11 我知道你喜悅我，
因為你沒有讓仇敵勝過我。
12 你因我正直而扶持我，
讓我永遠侍立在你面前。
13 從亙古到永遠，
以色列的上帝耶和華當受稱頌。
阿們！阿們！

41 Au chef de chœur. Psaume de David.
2 Heureux celui ╵qui se soucie du pauvre.
Lorsque vient le malheur, ╵l’Eternel le délivre,
3 l’Eternel le protège ╵et préserve sa vie :
il le rend heureux sur la terre
et ne le livre pas ╵au désir de ses ennemis.
4 L’Eternel le soutient ╵sur son lit de souffrance,
et quand il est malade ╵il lui refait sa couche[a].
5 J’ai dit : « O Eternel, ╵aie compassion de moi,
et veuille me guérir ! ╵J’ai péché contre toi. »
6 Mes adversaires parlent ╵méchamment contre moi :
« Quand donc va-t-il mourir ? ╵Quand donc l’oubliera-t-on ? »
7 Si l’un d’eux vient me voir, ╵il se met à mentir :
il amasse en lui-même ╵un tas de médisances
et sort pour les répandre.
8 Mes ennemis ╵chuchotent tous ensemble ╵à mon sujet,
en formant des projets ╵pour mon malheur :
9 « Cette maladie qui le frappe, ╵quelle mauvaise affaire !
Il a dû s’aliter, ╵il ne se relèvera plus ! »
10 Et même mon ami,
en qui j’avais confiance, ╵celui qui partageait mon pain,
s’est tourné contre moi[b].
11 Mais toi, ô Eternel, ╵aie compassion de moi, ╵et viens me relever :
je leur rendrai leur dû.
12 Voici comment je reconnaîtrai ╵ton affection pour moi :
c’est quand mon ennemi ╵cessera de clamer ╵qu’il triomphe de moi.
13 Pour prix de mon intégrité, ╵tu viens me soutenir.
Tu me fais subsister ╵devant toi pour toujours.
14 Béni soit l’Eternel, ╵Dieu d’Israël, ╵depuis toujours ╵et pour toujours.

Psalm 41[a]
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 Blessed(A) are those who have regard for the weak;(B)
the Lord delivers them in times of trouble.(C)
2 The Lord protects(D) and preserves them—(E)
they are counted among the blessed in the land—(F)
he does not give them over to the desire of their foes.(G)
3 The Lord sustains them on their sickbed(H)
and restores them from their bed of illness.(I)
4 I said, “Have mercy(J) on me, Lord;
heal(K) me, for I have sinned(L) against you.”
5 My enemies say of me in malice,
“When will he die and his name perish?(M)”
6 When one of them comes to see me,
he speaks falsely,(N) while his heart gathers slander;(O)
then he goes out and spreads(P) it around.
7 All my enemies whisper together(Q) against me;
they imagine the worst for me, saying,
8 “A vile disease has afflicted him;
he will never get up(R) from the place where he lies.”
9 Even my close friend,(S)
someone I trusted,
one who shared my bread,
has turned[b] against me.(T)
