唯有　神赐人喜乐平安

4 我公义的　神啊（“我公义的　神啊”或译：“使我为义的　神啊”）！

我呼求的时候，求你答应我。

我在困苦中，你曾使我舒畅。

求你恩待我，听我的祷告。

²尊贵的人啊！你们把我的荣耀变为羞辱，要到几时呢？

你们喜爱虚妄，追求虚谎，要到几时呢？（细拉）

³你们要知道耶和华已经把虔诚人分别出来，归他自己；

我向耶和华呼求的时候，他就垂听。

⁴你们生气，却不可犯罪；

在床上的时候，你们要在心里思想，并且要安静。（细拉）

⁵你们应当献公义的祭，

也要投靠耶和华。

⁶有许多人说：“谁能指示我们得甚么好处呢？”

耶和华啊！求你仰起你的脸，光照我们。

⁷你使我心里喜乐，

胜过人在丰收五谷新酒时的喜乐。

⁸我必平平安安躺下睡觉，

因为只有你耶和华能使我安然居住。

4 Answer me when I pray to you,
my God who does what is right.
Lift the load that I carry.
Be kind to me and hear my prayer.

²People, how long will you turn my honor into shame?
    You love what is false, and you look for new lies. Selah
³You know that the Lord has chosen for himself those who are loyal to him.
    The Lord listens when I pray to him.
⁴When you are angry, do not sin.
    Think about these things quietly
    as you go to bed. Selah
⁵Do what is right as a sacrifice to the Lord.
    And trust the Lord.

⁶Many people ask,
    “Who will give us anything good?
    Lord, be kind to us.”
⁷But you have made me very happy.
    I am happier than they are,
    even with all their grain and wine.
⁸I go to bed and sleep in peace.
    Lord, only you keep me safe.

4 Answer me when I call, O God of my ^(C)righteousness!
You have ^(D)given me relief when I was in distress.
Be gracious to me and hear my prayer!

²O men,^[a] how long shall my honor be turned into shame?
How long will you love vain words and seek after ^(E)lies? Selah
³But know that the Lord has ^(F)set apart ^(G)the godly for himself;
the Lord hears when I call to him.

⁴^(H)Be angry,^[b] and do not sin;
^(I)ponder in your own hearts ^(J)on your beds, and be silent. Selah
⁵Offer ^(K)right sacrifices,
and put your ^(L)trust in the Lord.

⁶There are many who say, “Who will show us some good?
^(M)Lift up ^(N)the light of your face upon us, O Lord!”
⁷You have put ^(O)more joy in my heart
than they have when their grain and wine abound.
