认罪与赦免
大卫的诗。
32 过犯得赦免、罪恶被饶恕的人有福了！
2 心里没有诡诈、
不被耶和华算为有罪的人有福了！
3 我默然不语、拒绝认罪的时候，
就因整日哀叹而身心疲惫。
4 你昼夜管教我，
我的精力耗尽，
如水在盛夏枯竭。（细拉）
5 我向你承认自己的罪，
不再隐瞒自己的恶。
我说：“我要向耶和华认罪。”
你就赦免了我。（细拉）
6 因此，趁着还能寻求你的时候，
凡敬虔的人都当向你祷告；
洪水泛滥时，就没有机会了。
7 你是我的藏身之所，
你保护我免遭危难，
用得胜的凯歌四面环绕我。（细拉）
8 耶和华说：“我要教导你，
引领你走正路；
我要劝导你，看顾你。
9 不要像无知的骡马，
不用嚼环辔头就不驯服。”
10 恶人必多遭祸患，
耶和华的慈爱必环绕信靠祂的人。
11 义人啊，
你们要靠耶和华欢喜快乐；
心地正直的人啊，
你们都要欢呼。

32 Méditation[a] de David.
Heureux l’homme ╵dont la faute est effacée,
et le péché pardonné !
2 Heureux l’homme ╵au compte de qui ╵l’Eternel ╵ne porte pas le péché[b]
et qui est exempt ╵de duplicité !
3 Tant que je taisais ma faute,
je m’épuisais à gémir ╵sans cesse, à longueur de jour.
4 Sur moi, le jour et la nuit, ╵ta main s’appesantissait,
ma vigueur m’abandonnait ╵comme l’herbe se dessèche ╵lors des ardeurs de l’été.

5 Je t’ai avoué ma faute,
je n’ai plus caché mes torts,
j’ai dit : « Je reconnaîtrai ╵devant l’Eternel ╵les péchés que j’ai commis. »
Alors tu m’as déchargé ╵du poids de ma faute.

6 Ainsi, que tout homme ╵qui t’est attaché ╵te prie au temps opportun.
Si les grandes eaux déferlent,
leurs flots ne l’atteignent pas.
7 Tu es un abri pour moi, ╵tu me gardes du danger.
Autour de moi retentissent ╵les chants de la délivrance.

8 Tu as dit : « Je t’instruirai, ╵je t’indiquerai ╵le chemin ╵que tu devras emprunter,
je serai ton conseiller, ╵mes yeux veilleront sur toi.
9 Ne soyez donc pas stupides ╵comme un cheval, un mulet ╵dépourvus d’intelligence
dont il faut dompter la fougue ╵par la bride et par le mors
sans quoi ils ne viendront pas vers toi[c] ! »
10 Ils sont nombreux les tourments ╵qui attendent les méchants,
mais les hommes qui ont mis ╵leur confiance en l’Eternel ╵sont comblés par son amour.
11 Justes, réjouissez-vous ! ╵Mettez votre joie en l’Eternel
et poussez des cris de joie, ╵vous qui êtes droits de cœur !

This is a special song that David wrote.
Tell God about your sins[a]
32 When God has forgiven someone's sins,
they are truly happy!
They may have turned against God,
but when God forgives them, they are happy.
2 They may have done something bad,
but when the Lord says, ‘Not guilty!’,
he has truly blessed them.
They are happy because they no longer try to hide their sins.
3 When I said nothing to God about my sin,
my whole body became weak.
I cried all the time because of the pain.
4 In the day and in the night,
you punished me very much.
It seemed as if the hot sun was taking away my strength.
Selah.
5 Then I told you about my sins.
I did not try to hide the bad things that I had done.
I said, ‘I will tell the Lord
about the things that I have done against him.’
When I did that, you forgave my sins.
Selah.
6 Because of this, all your own people should pray to you.
They should pray while they still have the chance.[b]
Then, when danger comes to them like a river of deep water,
they will still be safe.
7 Yes, Lord, you are a place where I can hide.
You will keep me safe from trouble.
I will hear happy songs all around me,
because you save your people from danger.
Selah.
8 I will teach you the right way to live.
I will be your guide
and I will take care of you.[c]
9 Do not be like a silly horse, or a mule.
You have to use a rope to show them which way to go.
Without that, they will not obey you.
10 Wicked people will receive a lot of trouble and pain.
But if anyone trusts in the Lord,
they will know that God always loves them.
11 So all you people who belong to the Lord,
praise him and be happy!
All of you who are good, honest people,
shout aloud because you are so happy!

- 32:1 This psalm helps us to tell God when we have done something that is wrong. God already knows about it, but he will not forgive us until we show him that we are sorry. David knew that he had done bad things that did not please God. When he knew that God had forgiven him, he could be happy again. There are other Psalms which say ‘sorry’ to God. See Psalms 38; 51; 102; 130; 143.
- 32:6 ‘while they still have the chance’ or ‘when they know about their sin’.
- 32:8 These are God's words. He is promising to take care of David.
