求助的早禱

大衛逃避兒子押沙龍時作的詩。

3 耶和華啊，我的敵人何其多！
反對我的人何其多！
²他們都說上帝不會來救我。（細拉）^[a]

³可是，耶和華啊！
你是四面保護我的盾牌，
你賜我榮耀，使我昂首而立。
⁴我向耶和華呼求，
祂就從祂的聖山上回應我。（細拉）
⁵我躺下，我睡覺，我醒來，
都蒙耶和華看顧。
⁶我雖被千萬仇敵圍困，
也不會懼怕。
⁷耶和華啊，求你起來！
我的上帝啊，求你救我！
求你摑我一切仇敵的臉，
打碎惡人的牙齒。
⁸耶和華啊，你是拯救者，
願你賜福你的子民！（細拉）

3 耶和華啊！我的仇敵竟然這麼多。

起來攻擊我的竟然那麼多。

²有很多人議論我說：

“他從　神那裡得不到救助。”（細拉）

³耶和華啊！你卻是我周圍的盾牌，

是我的榮耀，是使我抬起頭來的。

⁴我發聲向耶和華呼求的時候，

他就從他的聖山上回答我。（細拉）

⁵我躺下，我睡覺，

我醒來，都因耶和華在扶持著我。

⁶雖有千萬人包圍攻擊我，

我也不怕。

⁷耶和華啊！求你起來；

我的　神啊！求你拯救我，

你擊打了我所有仇敵的臉頰，

打碎了惡人的牙齒。

⁸救恩屬於耶和華，

願你賜福給你的子民。（細拉）

²⁽¹⁾Adonai, how many enemies I have!
How countless are those attacking me;
³⁽²⁾how countless those who say of me,
“There is no salvation for him in God.” (Selah)

⁴⁽³⁾But you, Adonai, are a shield for me;
you are my glory, you lift my head high.
⁵⁽⁴⁾With my voice I call out to Adonai,
and he answers me from his holy hill. (Selah)

⁶⁽⁵⁾I lie down and sleep, then wake up again,
because Adonai sustains me.
⁷⁽⁶⁾I am not afraid of the tens of thousands
set against me on every side.
⁸⁽⁷⁾Rise up, Adonai!
Save me, my God!
For you slap all my enemies in the face,
you smash the teeth of the wicked.
⁹⁽⁸⁾Victory comes from Adonai;
may your blessing rest on your people. (Selah)

3 (A psalm of Dovid, when he fled from Avshalom bno) Hashem, how are they increased that are my foes! Many are they that rise up against me.

²⁽³⁾Many there be which say of my nefesh, There is no yeshuah for him in Elohim. Selah.

³⁽⁴⁾But Thou, Hashem, art a mogen around me; my kavod, and the One who lifts up mine head.

⁴⁽⁵⁾I cried unto Hashem with my voice, and He heard me out of His Har Kodesh. Selah.

⁵⁽⁶⁾I laid me down and slept; I awaked, for Hashem sustains me.

⁶⁽⁷⁾I will not be afraid of ten thousands of am (people), that have set themselves against me round about.

⁷⁽⁸⁾Arise, Hashem; hoshieini (save me), O Elohai; for Thou hast struck all mine enemies upon the cheekbone; Thou hast broken the teeth of the resha’im.

⁸⁽⁹⁾HaYeshuah (salvation) belongeth unto Hashem; the Birkhat (blessing) of Thee is upon Thy people. Selah.
