上帝威严的声音
大卫的诗。
29 上帝的众子啊，
要赞美耶和华，
赞美祂的荣耀和能力，
2 要赞美祂荣耀的名，
穿上圣洁的衣服敬拜祂。
3 耶和华的声音回荡在海上，
荣耀的上帝打雷，
在洪涛之上打雷。
4 耶和华的声音充满能力；
耶和华的声音充满威严。
5 耶和华的声音震断香柏树，
耶和华劈碎黎巴嫩的香柏树，
6 使黎巴嫩山跳跃如小牛，
西连山跳跃如野牛。
7 耶和华的声音携闪电而来，
8 震动旷野，
震动加低斯的旷野。
9 耶和华的声音击倒橡树[a]，
使树木凋零。
众人在祂殿中高呼：
“荣耀归于耶和华！”
10 耶和华坐在洪涛之上，
耶和华永远坐着为王。
11 耶和华赐力量给自己的子民，
赐给他们平安的福乐。

A psalm of David.
1 Ascribe to the Lord,(A) you heavenly beings,(B)
ascribe to the Lord glory(C) and strength.
2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of his[a] holiness.(D)
3 The voice(E) of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory(F) thunders,(G)
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.(H)
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful;(I)
the voice of the Lord is majestic.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.(J)
6 He makes Lebanon leap(K) like a calf,
Sirion[b](L) like a young wild ox.(M)
7 The voice of the Lord strikes
with flashes of lightning.(N)
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.(O)
9 The voice of the Lord twists the oaks[c](P)
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”(Q)

29 Salmo. Di Davide.
Date al Signore, figli di Dio,
date al Signore gloria e potenza.
2 Date al Signore la gloria del suo nome,
prostratevi al Signore in santi ornamenti.
3 Il Signore tuona sulle acque,
il Dio della gloria scatena il tuono,
il Signore, sull'immensità delle acque.
4 Il Signore tuona con forza,
tuona il Signore con potenza.
5 Il tuono del Signore schianta i cedri,
il Signore schianta i cedri del Libano.
6 Fa balzare come un vitello il Libano
e il Sirion come un giovane bufalo.
7 Il tuono saetta fiamme di fuoco,
8 il tuono scuote la steppa,
il Signore scuote il deserto di Kades.
9 Il tuono fa partorire le cerve
e spoglia le foreste.
Nel suo tempio tutti dicono: «Gloria!».
10 Il Signore è assiso sulla tempesta,
il Signore siede re per sempre.
11 Il Signore darà forza al suo popolo
benedirà il suo popolo con la pace.
