Psalm 29
GOD’S WORD Translation
A psalm by David.
29 Give to the Lord, you heavenly beings.
Give to the Lord glory and power.
2 Give to the Lord the glory his name deserves.
Worship the Lord in ⌞his⌟ holy splendor.
3 The voice of the Lord rolls over the water.
The God of glory thunders.
The Lord shouts over raging water.
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful.
The voice of the Lord is majestic.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars.
The Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes Lebanon skip along like a calf
and Mount Sirion like a wild ox.
7 The voice of the Lord strikes with flashes of lightning.
8 The voice of the Lord makes the wilderness tremble.
The Lord makes the wilderness of Kadesh tremble.
9 The voice of the Lord splits the oaks
and strips ⌞the trees of⌟ the forests bare.
Everyone in his temple is saying, “Glory!”
10 The Lord sat enthroned over the flood.
The Lord sits enthroned as king forever.
11 The Lord will give power to his people.
The Lord will bless his people with peace.

29 (A) En psalm av David.
Ge åt Herren, ni Guds söner,
ge åt Herren ära och makt!
2 Ge åt Herren hans namns ära,
tillbe Herren i helig skrud!
3 (B) Herrens röst hörs över vattnen,
ärans Gud dundrar,
Herren över väldiga vatten.
4 (C) Herrens röst är mäktig,
Herrens röst är majestätisk.
5 Herrens röst knäcker cedrar,
Herren knäcker Libanons cedrar.
6 Han får dem att hoppa som kalvar,
Libanon och Sirjon[a]
som unga vildoxar.
7 Herrens röst klyver luften
med flammande eld,
8 (D) Herrens röst får öknen att bäva,
Herren får Kadesh öken[b]
att bäva.
9 (E) Herrens röst får hindar att föda[c]
och rycker bort skogarnas kläder.
Allt i hans tempel
förkunnar hans ära.
10 (F) Herren tronade
när syndafloden kom,
Herren tronar som kung för evigt.
11 (G) Herren ger styrka åt sitt folk,
Herren välsignar sitt folk
med frid.

- 29:8 Kadesh öken Antingen Kadesh-Barnea nära Sinai (4 Mos 20:1, 5 Mos 1:19) eller det nordliga Kedesh nära Libanon (Dom 4:6, jfr vers 5-6). "Öken" kan också översättas "ödemark" (jfr 65:13).
- 29:9 får hindar att föda Annan översättning: "får ekar att darra".

上帝威嚴的聲音
大衛的詩。
29 上帝的眾子啊，
要讚美耶和華，
讚美祂的榮耀和能力，
2 要讚美祂榮耀的名，
穿上聖潔的衣服敬拜祂。
3 耶和華的聲音迴盪在海上，
榮耀的上帝打雷，
在洪濤之上打雷。
4 耶和華的聲音充滿能力；
耶和華的聲音充滿威嚴。
5 耶和華的聲音震斷香柏樹，
耶和華劈碎黎巴嫩的香柏樹，
6 使黎巴嫩山跳躍如小牛，
西連山跳躍如野牛。
7 耶和華的聲音攜閃電而來，
8 震動曠野，
震動加低斯的曠野。
9 耶和華的聲音擊倒橡樹[a]，
使樹木凋零。
眾人在祂殿中高呼：
「榮耀歸於耶和華！」
10 耶和華坐在洪濤之上，
耶和華永遠坐著為王。
11 耶和華賜力量給自己的子民，
賜給他們平安的福樂。
