上帝威嚴的聲音
大衛的詩。
29 上帝的眾子啊，
要讚美耶和華，
讚美祂的榮耀和能力，
2 要讚美祂榮耀的名，
穿上聖潔的衣服敬拜祂。
3 耶和華的聲音迴盪在海上，
榮耀的上帝打雷，
在洪濤之上打雷。
4 耶和華的聲音充滿能力；
耶和華的聲音充滿威嚴。
5 耶和華的聲音震斷香柏樹，
耶和華劈碎黎巴嫩的香柏樹，
6 使黎巴嫩山跳躍如小牛，
西連山跳躍如野牛。
7 耶和華的聲音攜閃電而來，
8 震動曠野，
震動加低斯的曠野。
9 耶和華的聲音擊倒橡樹[a]，
使樹木凋零。
眾人在祂殿中高呼：
「榮耀歸於耶和華！」
10 耶和華坐在洪濤之上，
耶和華永遠坐著為王。
11 耶和華賜力量給自己的子民，
賜給他們平安的福樂。

29 (A)Mutendereze Mukama, mmwe abaana b’ab’amaanyi.
Mutendereze Mukama n’ekitiibwa n’amaanyi.
2 (B)Mutendereze Mukama n’ekitiibwa ekisaanira erinnya lye;
musinze Mukama mu kitiibwa eky’obutukuvu bwe.
3 (C)Eddoboozi lya Mukama liwulirwa ku mazzi;
Katonda ow’ekitiibwa abwatuka,
n’eddoboozi lye ne liwulirwa ku mazzi amangi.
4 (D)Eddoboozi lya Mukama ly’amaanyi;
eddoboozi lya Mukama lijjudde ekitiibwa.
5 (E)Eddoboozi lya Mukama limenya emivule;
Mukama amenyaamenya emivule gya Lebanooni.
6 (F)Aleetera Lebanooni okubuukabuuka ng’akayana,
ne Siriyooni[a] ng’ennyana y’embogo.
7 Eddoboozi lya Mukama
libwatukira mu kumyansa.
8 (G)Eddoboozi lya Mukama likankanya eddungu;
Mukama akankanya eddungu lya Kadesi.
9 (H)Eddoboozi lya Mukama linyoolanyoola emivule,
n’emiti mu bibira ne gitasigalako makoola.
Mu Yeekaalu ye, abantu bonna boogerera waggulu nti, “Ekitiibwa kibe eri Mukama!”
10 (I)Mukama atuula waggulu w’amataba ku ntebe ye ey’obwakabaka.
Mukama ye Kabaka afuga emirembe gyonna.
11 (J)Mukama awa abantu be amaanyi;
Mukama awa abantu be emirembe.

Psalm 29
A psalm of David.
1 Ascribe to the Lord,(A) you heavenly beings,(B)
ascribe to the Lord glory(C) and strength.
2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of his[a] holiness.(D)
3 The voice(E) of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory(F) thunders,(G)
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.(H)
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful;(I)
the voice of the Lord is majestic.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.(J)
6 He makes Lebanon leap(K) like a calf,
Sirion[b](L) like a young wild ox.(M)
7 The voice of the Lord strikes
with flashes of lightning.(N)
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.(O)
9 The voice of the Lord twists the oaks[c](P)
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”(Q)
