New International Version

⁷The Lord is my strength^(A) and my shield;
my heart trusts^(B) in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,^(C)
and with my song I praise him.^(D)

⁸The Lord is the strength^(E) of his people,
a fortress of salvation^(F) for his anointed one.^(G)
⁹Save your people^(H) and bless your inheritance;^(I)
be their shepherd^(J) and carry them^(K) forever.
