Salmos 27
Nova Traduҫão na Linguagem de Hoje 2000
Segurança em Deus
De Davi.
27 O Senhor Deus é a minha luz
e a minha salvação;
de quem terei medo?
O Senhor me livra de todo perigo;
não ficarei com medo de ninguém.
2 Quando os maus, os meus inimigos,
me atacam
e procuram me matar,
são eles que tropeçam e caem.
3 Ainda que um exército inteiro
me cerque,
não terei medo;
ainda que os meus inimigos
me ataquem,
ele me esconderá no seu abrigo.
Ele me guardará no seu Templo
e me colocará em segurança
no alto de uma rocha.
6 Assim vencerei os inimigos
que me cercam.
Com gritos de alegria, oferecerei
sacrifícios no seu Templo;
eu cantarei e louvarei
a Deus, o Senhor.
7 Ó Senhor, ouve-me quando eu te chamar!
Tem compaixão de mim e responde-me.
8 Tu disseste: “Venha me adorar.”
Eu respondo: “Eu irei te adorar,
ó Senhor Deus.”
9 Não te escondas de mim.
Não fiques irado comigo;
não rejeites este teu servo.
Ó Deus, meu libertador,
tu tens sido a minha ajuda;
não me deixes, não me abandones.
10 Ainda que o meu pai e a minha mãe
me abandonem,
o Senhor cuidará de mim.
11 Ó Senhor Deus, ensina-me
a fazer a tua vontade
e guia-me por um caminho seguro,
pois os meus inimigos são muitos.
12 Não me entregues nas mãos
desses inimigos,
que dizem mentiras contra mim
e me ameaçam com violência.
13 Estou certo de que verei,
ainda nesta vida,
o Senhor Deus mostrar a sua bondade.
14 Confie no Senhor.
Tenha fé e coragem.
Confie em Deus, o Senhor.

Psalm 27
Of David.
1 The Lord is my light(A) and my salvation(B)—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold(C) of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?(D)
2 When the wicked advance against me
to devour[a] me,
it is my enemies and my foes
who will stumble and fall.(E)
3 Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;(F)
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident.(G)
4 One thing(H) I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,(I)
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.
5 For in the day of trouble(J)
he will keep me safe(K) in his dwelling;
he will hide me(L) in the shelter of his sacred tent
and set me high upon a rock.(M)
6 Then my head will be exalted(N)
above the enemies who surround me;(O)
at his sacred tent I will sacrifice(P) with shouts of joy;(Q)
I will sing(R) and make music(S) to the Lord.
7 Hear my voice(T) when I call, Lord;
be merciful to me and answer me.(U)
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!(V)”
Your face, Lord, I will seek.
9 Do not hide your face(W) from me,
do not turn your servant away in anger;(X)
you have been my helper.(Y)
Do not reject me or forsake(Z) me,
God my Savior.(AA)
10 Though my father and mother forsake me,
the Lord will receive me.
11 Teach me your way,(AB) Lord;
lead me in a straight path(AC)
because of my oppressors.(AD)

for false witnesses(AE) rise up against me,
spouting malicious accusations.

Lexham English Bible
A Declaration of Trust
Of David.[a]
27 Yahweh is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
Yahweh is the refuge of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When evildoers drew near against me to eat my flesh—
my adversaries and my enemies who drew near to me—
they themselves stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army encamp against me,
my heart will not fear.
Though war arise against me,
even in this I will remain confident.
4 One thing I have asked from Yahweh;
it I will seek:
that I may dwell in the house[b] of Yahweh all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of Yahweh,
and to consider[c] his temple.
5 Because he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble.
He will conceal me in the hiding place of his tent.
He will set me high upon a rock.
6 And now my head will be high over my enemies round about me.
And I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy.
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to Yahweh.
7 Hear, O Yahweh, my voice when I call,
and be gracious to me and answer me.
8 On your behalf my heart says, “Seek my face.”
Your face, O Yahweh, I do seek.
9 Do not hide your face from me;
do not turn your servant away in anger.
You have been my help; do not abandon nor forsake me,
O God of my salvation.
10 If my father or my mother forsake me,
then Yahweh will receive me.
11 Teach me, O Yahweh, your way,
and lead me on a level path because of my enemies.
12 Do not give me over to the desire of my enemies,
because false witnesses have arisen against me,
and each breathing out violence.[d]
13 Surely[e] I believe that I will see the goodness of Yahweh
in the land of the living.
14 Wait for Yahweh.
Be strong and let your heart show strength,
and wait for Yahweh.
