大卫的诗。
27 耶和华是我的亮光，是我的救恩，
我还怕谁呢？
耶和华是我性命的避难所，
我还惧谁呢？（本节在《马索拉文本》包括细字标题）
2 那些作恶的，就是我的敌人、我的仇敌，
他们逼近我，要吃我肉的时候，
就绊跌仆倒。
3 虽有军兵扎营攻击我，
我的心也不害怕；
虽然发动战争攻击我，
我仍旧安稳。
4 有一件事我求过耶和华，我还要寻求；
我要一生一世住在耶和华的殿里，
瞻仰他的荣美，在他的殿中求问。
5 因为在我遭难的日子，
他必把我藏在他的帐棚里，
把我隐藏在他帐幕的隐密处，
又把我高举在盘石上。
6 现在，我可以抬起头来，
高过我四周的仇敌；
我要在他的帐幕里，献上欢呼的祭；
我要歌唱，颂赞耶和华。
7 耶和华啊！我发声呼求的时候，求你垂听；
求你恩待我，应允我。
8 你说：“你们要寻求我的面！”

27 Dios mío,
tú eres mi luz y mi salvación;
¿de quién voy a tener miedo?
Tú eres quien protege mi vida;
¡nadie me infunde temor!
2 Cuando mis malvados enemigos
me atacan y amenazan con destruirme,
son ellos los que tropiezan,
son ellos los que caen.
3 Me puede atacar un ejército,
pero yo no siento miedo;
me pueden hacer la guerra,
pero yo mantengo la calma.
4 Dios mío,
sólo una cosa te pido,
sólo una cosa deseo:
déjame vivir en tu templo
todos los días de mi vida,
para contemplar tu hermosura
y buscarte en oración.
5 Cuando vengan tiempos difíciles,
tú me darás protección:
me esconderás en tu templo,
que es el lugar más seguro.
6 Tú me darás la victoria
sobre mis enemigos;
yo, por mi parte,
cantaré himnos en tu honor,
y ofreceré en tu templo
sacrificios de gratitud.

10 Mis padres podrán abandonarme,

por causa de mis enemigos

12 No dejes que mis enemigos
hagan conmigo lo que quieran.

A Declaration of Trust
Of David.[a]
27 Yahweh is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
Yahweh is the refuge of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When evildoers drew near against me to eat my flesh—
my adversaries and my enemies who drew near to me—
they themselves stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army encamp against me,
my heart will not fear.
Though war arise against me,
even in this I will remain confident.
4 One thing I have asked from Yahweh;
it I will seek:
that I may dwell in the house[b] of Yahweh all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of Yahweh,
and to consider[c] his temple.
5 Because he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble.
He will conceal me in the hiding place of his tent.
He will set me high upon a rock.
6 And now my head will be high over my enemies round about me.
And I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy.
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to Yahweh.
7 Hear, O Yahweh, my voice when I call,
and be gracious to me and answer me.
8 On your behalf my heart says, “Seek my face.”
Your face, O Yahweh, I do seek.
9 Do not hide your face from me;
do not turn your servant away in anger.
You have been my help; do not abandon nor forsake me,
O God of my salvation.
10 If my father or my mother forsake me,
then Yahweh will receive me.
11 Teach me, O Yahweh, your way,
and lead me on a level path because of my enemies.
12 Do not give me over to the desire of my enemies,
because false witnesses have arisen against me,
and each breathing out violence.[d]
13 Surely[e] I believe that I will see the goodness of Yahweh
in the land of the living.
14 Wait for Yahweh.
Be strong and let your heart show strength,
and wait for Yahweh.

Of David.
1 The Lord is my light(A) and my salvation(B)—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold(C) of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?(D)
2 When the wicked advance against me
to devour[a] me,
it is my enemies and my foes
who will stumble and fall.(E)
3 Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;(F)
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident.(G)
4 One thing(H) I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,(I)
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.
5 For in the day of trouble(J)
he will keep me safe(K) in his dwelling;
he will hide me(L) in the shelter of his sacred tent
and set me high upon a rock.(M)
6 Then my head will be exalted(N)
above the enemies who surround me;(O)
at his sacred tent I will sacrifice(P) with shouts of joy;(Q)
I will sing(R) and make music(S) to the Lord.
7 Hear my voice(T) when I call, Lord;
be merciful to me and answer me.(U)
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!(V)”
Your face, Lord, I will seek.
9 Do not hide your face(W) from me,
do not turn your servant away in anger;(X)
you have been my helper.(Y)
Do not reject me or forsake(Z) me,
God my Savior.(AA)
10 Though my father and mother forsake me,
the Lord will receive me.

12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,

spouting malicious accusations.
