大卫的诗。
26 耶和华啊！求你为我伸冤，
因为我向来行事正直；
我倚靠耶和华，并不动摇。（本节在《马索拉文本》包括细字标题）
2 耶和华啊！求你试验我，鉴察我，
熬炼我的肺腑心肠。
3 因为你的慈爱常在我的眼前，
我行事为人都按着你的真理。
4 我决不与奸诈的人同坐，
也不和虚伪的人来往。
5 我恨恶恶人的聚会，
也不与作恶的同坐。
6 耶和华啊！我要洗手表明无辜，
才来绕着你的祭坛行走；
7 好使我发出称谢的声音，
述说你一切奇妙的作为。
8 耶和华啊！我喜爱你住宿的殿，
你荣耀居住的地方。
9 求你不要把我的性命和罪人一同除掉，
也不要把我的生命和流人血的人一起消灭。
10 他们的手中有恶计，
他们的右手充满贿赂。
11 至于我，我要按正直行事为人，
求你救赎我，恩待我。
12 我的脚站在平坦的地方，
我要在众会中称颂耶和华。

2 (B)Neetegereza, Ayi Mukama, ongezese;
weekalirize ebiri mu mutima gwange ne mu mmeeme yange.
3 (C)Kubanga okwagala kwo kwe kunkulembera,
era mu mazima go mwe ntambulira.
4 (D)Situula na bantu balimba,
so siteesaganya na bakuusa.
5 (E)Nkyawa ekibiina ky’aboonoonyi;
so situula na bakozi ba bibi.
6 (F)Naaba mu ngalo zange okulaga nga bwe sirina misango;[a]
ne ndyoka nzija ku Kyoto kyo, Ayi Mukama;
7 (G)ne nnyimba oluyimba olw’okwebaza,
olwogera ku bikolwa byo ebyewuunyisa.
8 (H)Ennyumba yo mw’obeera njagala, Ayi Mukama,
kye kifo ekijjudde ekitiibwa kyo.

wadde mu batemu,
10 (J)abakozesa emikono gyabwe okutegeka ebikolwa ebibi,
era abali b’enguzi.
11 (K)Naye nze ntambula nga siriiko kye nnenyezebwa;
nkwatirwa ekisa, Ayi Mukama, ondokole.
12 (L)Nnyimiridde watereevu.
Nnaatenderezanga Mukama mu kibiina ky’abantu ekinene.

A song of David.
1 Declare my innocence, O Eternal One!
I have walked blamelessly down this path.
I placed my trust in the Eternal and have yet to stumble.
2 Put me on trial and examine me, O Eternal One!
Search me through and through—from my deepest longings to every thought that crosses my mind.
3 Your unfailing love is always before me;
I have journeyed down Your path of truth.
A great theme throughout the psalms is the experience of coming before God. This Davidic psalm affirms the integrity of the worshiper before the Lord even while pleading for God’s mercy.
4 My life is not wasted among liars;
my days are not spent among cheaters.
5 I despise every crowd intent on evil;
I do not commune with the wicked.
6 I wash my hands in the fountain of innocence
so that I might join the gathering that surrounds Your altar, O Eternal One.
7 From my soul, I will join the songs of thanksgiving;
I will sing and proclaim Your wonder and mystery.
8 Your house, home to Your glory, O Eternal One, radiates its light.
I am fixed on this place and long to be nowhere else.
9 When Your wrath pursues those who oppose You,
those swift to sin and thirsty for blood,
spare my soul and grant me life.
10 These men hold deceit in their left hands,
and in their right hands, bribery and lies.
11 But God, I have walked blamelessly down this path,
and this is my plea for redemption.
This is my cry for Your mercy.
12 Here I stand secure and confident
before all the people; I will praise the Eternal.

1 Vindicate me,(A) Lord,
for I have led a blameless life;(B)
I have trusted(C) in the Lord
and have not faltered.(D)
2 Test me,(E) Lord, and try me,
examine my heart and my mind;(F)
3 for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love(G)
and have lived(H) in reliance on your faithfulness.(I)
4 I do not sit(J) with the deceitful,
nor do I associate with hypocrites.(K)
5 I abhor(L) the assembly of evildoers
and refuse to sit with the wicked.
6 I wash my hands in innocence,(M)
and go about your altar, Lord,
7 proclaiming aloud your praise(N)
and telling of all your wonderful deeds.(O)
8 Lord, I love(P) the house where you live,
the place where your glory dwells.(Q)
9 Do not take away my soul along with sinners,
my life with those who are bloodthirsty,(R)
10 in whose hands are wicked schemes,(S)

26 Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide.
2 Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
3 For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
6 I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O Lord:
7 That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.
8 Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
9 Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:
10 In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.
11 But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
12 My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the Lord.
