Ärans kung och hans rike
Jorden är Herrens
med allt vad den rymmer,
världen med dem som bor i den,
2 (B) för han har grundat den på haven
och fäst den på de strömmande
vattnen.
3 (C) Vem får gå upp på Herrens berg?
Vem får komma in
i hans helgedom?
4 (D) Den som har oskyldiga händer
och rent hjärta,
som inte vänder sin själ till lögn
och inte svär falskt.
5 (E) Han får välsignelse från Herren
och rättfärdighet
från sin frälsnings Gud.
6 (F) Sådant är släktet
som frågar efter honom,
de som söker ditt ansikte
är Jakobs barn.[b] Sela
7 (G) Höj era huvuden, ni portar,
höj er, ni eviga dörrar,
så att ärans kung kan tåga in!

Of David. A psalm.
1 The earth is the Lord’s,(A) and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;(B)
2 for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.(C)
3 Who may ascend the mountain(D) of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?(E)
4 The one who has clean hands(F) and a pure heart,(G)
who does not trust in an idol(H)
or swear by a false god.[a]
5 They will receive blessing(I) from the Lord
and vindication(J) from God their Savior.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face,(K) God of Jacob.[b][c]
7 Lift up your heads, you gates;(L)
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King(M) of glory(N) may come in.(O)
8 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,(P)
the Lord mighty in battle.(Q)
9 Lift up your heads, you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
10 Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty(R)—
he is the King of glory.

24 The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
