祈耶和华援其受膏者使之得胜

20 大卫的诗，交于伶长。

¹愿耶和华在你遭难的日子应允你，愿名为雅各神的高举你。
²愿他从圣所救助你，从锡安坚固你；
³记念你的一切供献，悦纳你的燔祭；（细拉）
⁴将你心所愿的赐给你，成就你的一切筹算。
⁵我们要因你的救恩夸胜，要奉我们神的名竖立旌旗。愿耶和华成就你一切所求的！
⁶现在我知道耶和华救护他的受膏者，必从他的圣天上应允他，用右手的能力救护他。
⁷有人靠车，有人靠马，但我们要提到耶和华我们神的名。
⁸他们都屈身仆倒，我们却起来，立得正直。
⁹求耶和华施行拯救，我们呼求的时候，愿王应允我们！

Psalm 20

For the choir director: A psalm of David.

¹In times of trouble, may the Lord answer your cry.
    May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm.
²May he send you help from his sanctuary
    and strengthen you from Jerusalem.^[a]
³May he remember all your gifts
    and look favorably on your burnt offerings. Interlude

⁴May he grant your heart’s desires
and make all your plans succeed.
⁵May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory
and raise a victory banner in the name of our God.
May the Lord answer all your prayers.

⁶Now I know that the Lord rescues his anointed king.
    He will answer him from his holy heaven
    and rescue him by his great power.
⁷Some nations boast of their chariots and horses,
    but we boast in the name of the Lord our God.
⁸Those nations will fall down and collapse,
    but we will rise up and stand firm.

⁹Give victory to our king, O Lord!
Answer our cry for help.
