Salmos 20
Traducción en lenguaje actual
Dios ayuda al rey
SALMO 20 (19)
Himno de David.
20 Que Dios te responda
cuando te encuentres en aprietos;
que el Dios de Israel
te brinde su protección.
2 Que Dios te envíe su ayuda
desde su santuario;
que Dios te dé su apoyo
desde Jerusalén.
3 Que Dios se acuerde siempre
de todas tus ofrendas,
y reciba con gusto los animales
que presentas en su honor.
4 Que Dios te conceda
lo que pidas de todo corazón,
y que haga realidad
lo que pienses hacer.
5 ¡Lanzaremos gritos de alegría
cuando Dios te conceda la victoria,
y alabando a nuestro Dios
haremos ondear las banderas!
¡Que Dios te conceda
todo lo que pidas!
6 Ahora estoy bien seguro
de que Dios le dará la victoria
al rey que él ha elegido.
Sé que Dios le responderá
desde su santo cielo;
sé que con su poder
le dará al rey grandes victorias.
7 Algunos confían en sus carros de guerra,
otros confían en sus caballos,
pero nosotros sólo confiamos
en nuestro Dios.
8 Esa gente tropezará y caerá,
pero nosotros nos levantaremos
y seguiremos de pie.
9 Dios nuestro,
¡dale al rey la victoria!,
¡respóndenos cuando te llamemos!
Psalm 20
New King James Version
The Assurance of God’s Saving Work
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
20 May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble;
May the name of the God of Jacob [a]defend you;
2 May He send you help from the sanctuary,
And strengthen you out of Zion;
3 May He remember all your offerings,
And accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah
4 May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
And (A)fulfill all your [b]purpose.
5 We will rejoice in your salvation,
And in the name of our God we will set up our banners!
May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
6 Now I know that the Lord saves His [c]anointed;
He will answer him from His holy heaven
With the saving strength of His right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in (B)horses;
But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They have bowed down and fallen;
But we have risen and stand upright.
9 Save, Lord!
May the King answer us when we call.

Psalm 20
New International Reader's Version
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
20 May the Lord answer you when you are in trouble.
May the God of Jacob keep you safe.
2 May he send you help from the sacred tent.
May he give you aid from Zion.
3 May he remember all your sacrifices.
May he accept your burnt offerings.
4 May he give you what your heart wishes for.
May he make all your plans succeed.
5 May we shout for joy over your victory.
May we lift up our flags in the name of our God.
May the Lord give you everything you ask for.
6 Now I know that the Lord gives victory to his anointed king.
He answers him from his sacred home in heaven.
The power of God’s right hand gives victory to the king.
7 Some trust in chariots. Some trust in horses.
But we trust in the Lord our God.
8 They are brought to their knees and fall down.
But we get up and stand firm.
9 Lord, give victory to the king!
Answer us when we call out to you!
