大卫的胜利之歌
耶和华的仆人大卫的诗，交给乐长。当时耶和华从众仇敌和扫罗手中拯救了他，他向耶和华吟唱此诗。
18 耶和华啊，你是我的力量，
我爱你。
2 耶和华是我的磐石，我的堡垒，我的拯救者；
我的上帝是保护我的磐石，
我的盾牌，
是拯救我的力量，我的堡垒。
3 我求告当受颂赞的耶和华，
祂救我脱离仇敌。
4 死亡的锁链曾缠住我，
罪恶的狂流曾淹没我。
5 阴间的绳索曾捆绑我，
死亡的陷阱曾威胁我。
6 在苦难中我呼求耶和华，
向我的上帝求助。
祂从殿中垂听我的呼求，
我的声音达到祂耳中。
7 祂一发怒，大地震动，
山的根基摇晃。
8 祂的鼻孔冒烟，
口喷烈焰和火炭。
9 祂拨开云天，脚踩密云，
亲自降临。
10 祂乘着基路伯天使飞翔，
乘着风的翅膀疾驰。
11 祂藏身于黑暗中，
四围以密云作幔幕。
12 从祂面前的荣光中，
冰雹和火炭冲破云层。
13 耶和华在天上打雷，

14 祂射出利箭驱散仇敌，
发出闪电击溃他们。
15 耶和华啊，你斥责一声，
鼻孔一吹气，海底就显现，
大地也露出根基。
16 祂从高天伸手抓住我，
从深渊中把我拉上来。
17 祂救我脱离强敌，
脱离我无法战胜的仇敌。
18 他们在我危难之时攻击我，
但耶和华扶持我。
19 祂拯救我，领我到宽阔之地，
因为祂喜悦我。
20 耶和华因我公义而善待我，
因我清白而赏赐我，
21 因为我坚守祂的道，
没有作恶背弃我的上帝。
22 我遵守祂的一切法令，
没有把祂的律例弃置一旁。
23 我在祂面前纯全无过，
没有沾染罪恶。
24 耶和华因我公义、
在祂面前清白而奖赏我。
25 仁慈的人，你以仁慈待他；
纯全的人，你以纯全待他；
26 纯洁的人，你以纯洁待他；
心术不正的人，你以计谋待他。
27 你搭救谦卑的人，
贬抑眼目高傲的人。
28 我的上帝耶和华啊，
你是我的明灯，
你使我的黑暗变为光明。
29 我倚靠你的力量迎战敌军，
靠着我的上帝跃过墙垣。
30 上帝的道完美，
耶和华的话纯全，
祂是投靠祂之人的盾牌。
31 除了耶和华以外，谁是上帝呢？
除了我们的上帝，谁是磐石呢？
32 是上帝赐我力量，
使我行为纯全。
33 祂使我的脚如母鹿的蹄，
稳踏在高处。
34 祂训练我，
使我的手能争战、
我的臂膀能拉开铜弓。
35 耶和华啊，你是拯救我的盾牌，
你的右手扶持我，
你的垂顾使我强大。
36 你使我脚下的道路宽阔，
不致滑倒。
37 我追赶仇敌直到追上，
不消灭他们决不回头。
38 我打垮他们，
使他们倒在我的脚下，
再也站不起来。
39 你赐我征战的能力，
使我的仇敌降服在我脚下。
40 你使我的仇敌狼狈而逃，
我歼灭了恨我的人。
41 他们高声求救，却无人搭救；
他们呼求耶和华，祂也不应允。
42 我把他们打得粉碎，
如同风中的灰尘；
我把他们倒掉，
如同街上的泥土。
43 你救我脱离我百姓的攻击，
立我做列国的元首。
素不认识的民族也归顺我。
44 他们望风而降，
外族人对我俯首称臣。
45 外族人闻风丧胆，
战战兢兢地走出他们的城池。
46 耶和华永远活着，
保护我的磐石当受颂赞，
拯救我的上帝当受尊崇。
47 祂是为我申冤的上帝，
祂使列邦臣服于我。
48 祂救我脱离仇敌，
使我胜过强敌，
拯救我脱离残暴之徒。
49 因此，耶和华啊，
我要在列邦中赞美你，
歌颂你的名。
50 你使你立的王大获全胜，

Merci pour ta délivrance[a]
18 Au chef de chœur, de David, serviteur de l’Eternel. Il adressa à l’Eternel les paroles de ce cantique lorsque l’Eternel l’eut délivré de tous ses ennemis, et en particulier de Saül. 2 Il dit ceci :
Je t’aime, ô Eternel, ma force !
3 L’Eternel est ma forteresse, ╵mon rocher, mon libérateur.
Il est mon Dieu, le roc solide ╵où je me réfugie.
Il est mon Sauveur tout-puissant, ╵mon rempart et mon bouclier.
4 Loué soit l’Eternel : ╵quand je l’ai appelé,
j’ai été délivré ╵de tous mes ennemis.
5 La mort m’enserrait de ses liens,
et, comme un torrent destructeur, ╵me terrifiait.
6 Oui, le séjour des morts ╵m’entourait de ses liens,
le piège de la mort ╵se refermait sur moi.
7 Alors, dans ma détresse, ╵j’invoquai l’Eternel.
Vers mon Dieu, je lançai ╵mon appel au secours,
mon cri parvint à ses oreilles
et, de son temple[b], il m’entendit.
8 La terre s’ébranla ╵et elle chancela,
les fondements de ses montagnes ╵se mirent à frémir,
tout secoués par sa colère.
9 De ses narines s’élevait ╵de la fumée,
et de sa bouche ╵surgissait un feu dévorant,
des charbons embrasés ╵en jaillissaient.
10 Il inclina le ciel ╵et descendit,
un sombre nuage à ses pieds.
11 Il chevauchait un chérubin[c] ╵et il volait,
le vent le portait sur ses ailes.
12 Il s’enveloppait de ténèbres ╵pour se cacher dans leurs replis,
des nuages opaques ╵et l’obscurité de l’orage ╵formaient sa tente.
13 De l’éclat brillant devant lui ╵jaillissaient des nuages,
de la grêle et des braises.
14 L’Eternel tonna dans le ciel,
le Dieu très-haut ╵fit retentir sa voix
et il lança de la grêle et des braises.
15 Et soudain, il tira ses flèches ╵pour disperser mes ennemis,
il lança de nombreux éclairs ╵pour les mettre en déroute.
16 A ta menace, ô Eternel,
et au souffle tempétueux ╵de ta colère,
le fond des mers parut,
les fondements du monde ╵se trouvèrent à nu.
17 Du haut du ciel, ╵il étend sa main pour me prendre,
me retirer des grandes eaux.
18 Il me délivre ╵d’un ennemi puissant,
de gens qui me haïssent ╵et sont plus forts que moi.
19 Ils m’affrontaient ╵au jour de mon désastre,
mais l’Eternel ╵a été mon appui.
20 Il m’a retiré du danger, ╵l’a éloigné de moi,
il m’en a délivré, ╵à cause de son affection pour moi.
21 L’Eternel a agi ╵en tenant compte ╵de ma conduite juste,
comme mes mains sont pures, ╵il m’a récompensé ;
22 car j’ai suivi ╵les voies qu’il a prescrites,
je n’abandonne pas mon Dieu ╵pour m’adonner au mal.
23 J’ai toujours ses lois sous les yeux,
je ne fait fi ╵d’aucun de ses commandements.
24 Envers lui, je suis sans reproche,
je me suis gardé du péché.
25 L’Eternel m’a récompensé ╵d’avoir agi avec droiture
et d’avoir gardé les mains pures sous ses yeux.
26 Avec ceux qui sont bienveillants, ╵toi, tu te montres bienveillant.
Avec qui est irréprochable, ╵tu es irréprochable.
27 Et avec celui qui est pur, ╵tu es toi-même pur,
et avec celui qui agit ╵de manière tordue, ╵tu empruntes des chemins détournés.
28 Toi, tu sauves un peuple affligé,
tu fais baisser les yeux ╵aux orgueilleux.
29 Tu fais briller ma lampe ;
ô Eternel, mon Dieu, ╵tu illumines mes ténèbres.
30 Avec toi, je me précipite ╵sur une troupe bien armée,
avec mon Dieu, ╵je franchis des murailles.
31 Parfaites sont les voies ╵que Dieu prescrit,
la parole de l’Eternel ╵est éprouvée.
Ceux qui le prennent pour refuge ╵trouvent en lui un bouclier.
32 Qui est Dieu, sinon l’Eternel ?
Qui est un roc ? C’est notre Dieu !
33 C’est Dieu qui m’arme de vaillance,
il me trace un chemin parfait.
34 Grâce à lui, je cours comme une gazelle,
il me fait prendre position ╵sur les hauteurs.
35 C’est lui qui m’entraîne au combat,
et me fait tendre l’arc de bronze[d].
36 Ta délivrance ╵me sert de bouclier,
de ta main droite, ╵tu me soutiens,
et ta sollicitude me grandit.
37 Tu m’amènes à marcher ╵sur un chemin bien large,
mes jambes ne fléchissent pas.
38 Je poursuis tous mes ennemis, ╵je les rattrape
et je ne reviens pas ╵sans les avoir exterminés.
39 Je frappe : aucun ne peut se relever,
ils tombent sous mes pieds.
40 Tu me rends fort pour le combat,
tu fais plier mes agresseurs : ╵les voilà à mes pieds.
41 Tu mets mes ennemis en fuite,
et ceux qui me haïssent, ╵je les anéantis.
42 Ils ont beau crier au secours, ╵personne ne vient à leur aide
et s’ils appellent l’Eternel, ╵celui-ci ne leur répond pas.
43 Je les broie comme une poussière ╵qu’emporterait le vent.
Je les balaie ╵comme la boue des rues.
44 En face d’un peuple en révolte[e], ╵tu me fais triompher.
Tu m’établis chef d’autres peuples.
Un peuple qu’autrefois ╵je ne connaissais pas ╵m’est maintenant soumis.
45 Au premier mot, ils m’obéissent,
et des étrangers me courtisent.
46 Les étrangers perdent courage,
tremblants, ils quittent leurs bastions.
47 Dieu est vivant ! Qu’il soit béni, ╵lui qui est mon rocher !
Que l’on proclame la grandeur ╵de ce Dieu qui est mon Sauveur !
48 Ce Dieu m’accorde ma revanche,
il me soumet des peuples.
49 Il me délivre de mes ennemis.
Oui, tu me fais triompher d’eux,
tu me délivres ╵des hommes violents.
50 Aussi je publie tes louanges, ╵parmi les peuples ╵ô Eternel,
je te célèbre par mes chants[f].
51 Pour son roi, l’Eternel opère ╵de grandes délivrances.
Il traite avec bonté ╵l’homme qui de sa part ╵a reçu l’onction d’huile sainte,
David et sa postérité, ╵pour toute éternité.

The Lord Is My Rock and My Fortress
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David, (A)the servant of the Lord, (B)who addressed the words of this (C)song to the Lord on the day when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. He said:
18 I love you, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my (D)rock and my (E)fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my (F)rock, in (G)whom I take refuge,
my (H)shield, and (I)the horn of my salvation, my (J)stronghold.
3 I call upon the Lord, who is (K)worthy to be praised,
and I am saved from my enemies.
4 (L)The cords of death encompassed me;
(M)the torrents of destruction assailed me;[a]
5 (N)the cords of Sheol entangled me;
the snares of death confronted me.
6 (O)In my distress I called upon the Lord;
to my God I cried for help.
From his (P)temple he heard my voice,
and my cry to him reached his ears.
7 Then the earth (Q)reeled and rocked;
the foundations also of the mountains trembled
and quaked, because he was angry.
8 Smoke went up from his nostrils,[b]
and devouring (R)fire from his mouth;
glowing coals flamed forth from him.
9 He (S)bowed the heavens and (T)came down;
(U)thick darkness was under his feet.
10 He rode on a cherub and flew;
he came swiftly on (V)the wings of the wind.
11 He made darkness his covering, his (W)canopy around him,

12 Out of the brightness before him
(Y)hailstones and coals of fire broke through his clouds.
13 The Lord also (Z)thundered in the heavens,

hailstones and coals of fire.

he flashed forth lightnings and (AC)routed them.
15 Then (AD)the channels of the sea were seen,
and the foundations of the world were laid bare
at your (AE)rebuke, O Lord,
at the blast of (AF)the breath of your nostrils.
16 He (AG)sent from on high, he took me;
he (AH)drew me out of (AI)many waters.
17 He rescued me from my strong enemy
and from those who hated me,
for they were (AJ)too mighty for me.
18 They confronted me in the day of my calamity,
but the Lord was my support.
19 He brought me out into (AK)a broad place;
he rescued me, because he (AL)delighted in me.
20 The Lord dealt with me (AM)according to my righteousness;
according to (AN)the cleanness of my hands he rewarded me.
21 For I have (AO)kept the ways of the Lord,
and have not wickedly departed from my God.

and his statutes I did not put away from me.
23 I was (AQ)blameless before him,
and I kept myself from my guilt.
24 So the Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness,
according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.
25 With (AR)the merciful you show yourself merciful;
with the blameless man you show yourself blameless;
26 with the purified you show yourself pure;
and with (AS)the crooked you make yourself seem tortuous.
27 For you save (AT)a humble people,
but (AU)the haughty eyes you bring down.
28 For it is you who light my (AV)lamp;
the Lord my God lightens my darkness.
29 For by you I can run against a troop,
and by my God I can (AW)leap over (AX)a wall.
30 This God—his way is (AY)perfect;[d]
the word of the Lord (AZ)proves true;
he is (BA)a shield for all those who (BB)take refuge in him.
31 For (BC)who is God, but the Lord?
And who is (BD)a rock, except our God?—
32 the God who (BE)equipped me with strength
and made my way (BF)blameless.
33 He made my feet like the feet of a (BG)deer
and set me secure on (BH)the heights.
34 He (BI)trains my hands for war,
so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
35 You have given me the shield of your salvation,
and your right hand (BJ)supported me,
and your (BK)gentleness made me great.
36 You (BL)gave a wide place for my steps under me,
and my feet did not slip.
37 I pursued my enemies and overtook them,
and did not turn back till they were consumed.
38 I thrust them through, so that they were not able to rise;
they fell under my feet.
39 For you equipped me with strength for the battle;
you made those who rise against me sink under me.
40 You made my enemies (BM)turn their backs to me,[e]
and those who hated me I destroyed.
41 (BN)They cried for help, but there was none to save;
they cried to the Lord, but he did not answer them.
42 I beat them fine as (BO)dust before the wind;
I cast them out like (BP)the mire of the streets.
43 You delivered me from (BQ)strife with the people;
you made me (BR)the head of the nations;
(BS)people whom I had not known served me.
44 As soon as they heard of me they obeyed me;
(BT)foreigners (BU)came cringing to me.
45 (BV)Foreigners lost heart
and (BW)came trembling out of their fortresses.
46 The Lord lives, and blessed be my rock,
and exalted be the God of my salvation—
47 the God who gave me vengeance
and (BX)subdued peoples under me,
48 who rescued me from my enemies;
yes, you (BY)exalted me above those who rose against me;
you delivered me from (BZ)the man of violence.
49 (CA)For this I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations,
and (CB)sing to your name.
50 Great (CC)salvation he brings to his king,
and shows steadfast love to his (CD)anointed,
to (CE)David and his offspring forever.

For the director of music. Of David the servant of the Lord. He sang to the Lord the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said:
1 I love you, Lord, my strength.(B)
2 The Lord is my rock,(C) my fortress(D) and my deliverer;(E)
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,(F)
my shield[b](G) and the horn[c] of my salvation,(H) my stronghold.
3 I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise,(I)
and I have been saved from my enemies.(J)
4 The cords of death(K) entangled me;
the torrents(L) of destruction overwhelmed me.
5 The cords of the grave coiled around me;
the snares of death(M) confronted me.
6 In my distress(N) I called to the Lord;(O)
I cried to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice;(P)
my cry came(Q) before him, into his ears.

and the foundations of the mountains shook;(T)

the voice of the Most High resounded.[d]
14 He shot his arrows(AJ) and scattered the enemy,
with great bolts of lightning(AK) he routed them.(AL)
15 The valleys of the sea were exposed
and the foundations(AM) of the earth laid bare
at your rebuke,(AN) Lord,
at the blast of breath from your nostrils.(AO)
16 He reached down from on high and took hold of me;
he drew me out of deep waters.(AP)
17 He rescued me from my powerful enemy,(AQ)
from my foes, who were too strong for me.(AR)
18 They confronted me in the day of my disaster,(AS)
but the Lord was my support.(AT)
19 He brought me out into a spacious place;(AU)
he rescued me because he delighted in me.(AV)
20 The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness;(AW)
according to the cleanness of my hands(AX) he has rewarded me.(AY)
21 For I have kept the ways of the Lord;(AZ)
I am not guilty of turning(BA) from my God.
22 All his laws are before me;(BB)
I have not turned away from his decrees.
23 I have been blameless(BC) before him
and have kept myself from sin.
24 The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness,(BD)
according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.
25 To the faithful(BE) you show yourself faithful,(BF)
to the blameless you show yourself blameless,
26 to the pure(BG) you show yourself pure,
but to the devious you show yourself shrewd.(BH)
27 You save the humble(BI)
but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.(BJ)
28 You, Lord, keep my lamp(BK) burning;
my God turns my darkness into light.(BL)
29 With your help(BM) I can advance against a troop[e];
with my God I can scale a wall.
30 As for God, his way is perfect:(BN)
The Lord’s word is flawless;(BO)
he shields(BP) all who take refuge(BQ) in him.
31 For who is God besides the Lord?(BR)
And who is the Rock(BS) except our God?
32 It is God who arms me with strength(BT)
and keeps my way secure.(BU)
33 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;(BV)
he causes me to stand on the heights.(BW)
34 He trains my hands for battle;(BX)
my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
35 You make your saving help my shield,
and your right hand sustains(BY) me;
your help has made me great.
36 You provide a broad path(BZ) for my feet,
so that my ankles do not give way.(CA)
37 I pursued my enemies(CB) and overtook them;
I did not turn back till they were destroyed.
38 I crushed them(CC) so that they could not rise;(CD)
they fell beneath my feet.(CE)
39 You armed me with strength(CF) for battle;
you humbled my adversaries(CG) before me.
40 You made my enemies turn their backs(CH) in flight,
and I destroyed(CI) my foes.
41 They cried for help, but there was no one to save them(CJ)—
to the Lord, but he did not answer.(CK)
42 I beat them as fine as windblown dust;(CL)
I trampled them[f] like mud in the streets.
43 You have delivered me from the attacks of the people;
you have made me the head of nations.(CM)
People I did not know(CN) now serve me,
44 foreigners(CO) cower before me;
as soon as they hear of me, they obey me.
45 They all lose heart;(CP)
they come trembling(CQ) from their strongholds.(CR)
46 The Lord lives!(CS) Praise be to my Rock!(CT)
Exalted be God(CU) my Savior!(CV)
47 He is the God who avenges(CW) me,
who subdues nations(CX) under me,
48 who saves(CY) me from my enemies.(CZ)
You exalted me above my foes;
from a violent man(DA) you rescued me.
49 Therefore I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;(DB)
I will sing(DC) the praises of your name.(DD)
