無辜人祈求　神保護

大衛的禱告。

17 耶和華啊！求你垂聽我公義的案件，

傾聽我的申訴；

求你留心聽我的禱告，

這不是出於詭詐嘴唇的禱告。（本節在《馬索拉文本》包括細字標題）

2 願我的判詞從你面前發出，

願你的眼睛察看正直的事。

3 你試驗了我的心，在夜間鑒察了我；

你熬煉了我，還是找不到甚麼，

因為我立志使我的口沒有過犯。

4 至於世人的行為，

我藉著你嘴唇所出的話，保護了自己，

不行強暴人的道路。

5 我的腳步穩踏在你的路徑上，

我的兩腳沒有動搖。

6 　神啊！我向你呼求，因為你必應允我；

求你側耳聽我，垂聽我的禱告。

7 求你把你的慈愛奇妙地彰顯，

用右手拯救那些投靠你的，

脫離那些起來攻擊他們的。

8 求你保護我，像保護眼中的瞳人，

把我隱藏在你的翅膀蔭下；

9 使我脫離那些欺壓我的惡人，

脫離那些圍繞我的死敵。

10 他們閉塞了憐憫的心（“憐憫的心”原文作“他們的脂油”），

口裡說出驕傲的話。

11 他們追蹤我，現在把我圍困了（“他們追蹤我，現在把我圍困了”原文作“他們圍困了我們的腳步”）；

他們瞪著眼，要把我推倒在地上。

12 他們像急於撕碎獵物的獅子，

又像蹲伏在隱密處的幼獅。

13 耶和華啊！求你起來，迎面攻擊他們，把他們打倒；

用你的刀救我的命脫離惡人。

14 耶和華啊！求你用手救我脫離世人，

脫離那些只在今生有分的世人。

求你用你為他們儲存的充滿他們的肚腹，

使他們的兒女都可以飽嘗，

他們還有剩餘的留給他們的子孫。

15 至於我，我必在義中得見你的面；

我醒來的時候，

得見你的形象就心滿意足。

Psalm 17

A prayer of David.

1 O Lord, hear my plea for justice.
    Listen to my cry for help.
Pay attention to my prayer,
    for it comes from honest lips.
2 Declare me innocent,
    for you see those who do right.

3 You have tested my thoughts and examined my heart in the night.
    You have scrutinized me and found nothing wrong.
    I am determined not to sin in what I say.
4 I have followed your commands,
    which keep me from following cruel and evil people.
5 My steps have stayed on your path;
    I have not wavered from following you.

6 I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God.
    Bend down and listen as I pray.
7 Show me your unfailing love in wonderful ways.
    By your mighty power you rescue
    those who seek refuge from their enemies.
8 Guard me as you would guard your own eyes.[a]
    Hide me in the shadow of your wings.
9 Protect me from wicked people who attack me,
    from murderous enemies who surround me.
10 They are without pity.
    Listen to their boasting!
11 They track me down and surround me,
    watching for the chance to throw me to the ground.
12 They are like hungry lions, eager to tear me apart—
    like young lions hiding in ambush.

13 Arise, O Lord!
    Stand against them, and bring them to their knees!
    Rescue me from the wicked with your sword!
14 By the power of your hand, O Lord,
    destroy those who look to this world for their reward.
But satisfy the hunger of your treasured ones.
    May their children have plenty,
    leaving an inheritance for their descendants.
15 Because I am righteous, I will see you.
    When I awake, I will see you face to face and be satisfied.

Psalm 17

A prayer of David.

1 Hear me,(A) Lord, my plea is just;
    listen to my cry.(B)
Hear(C) my prayer—
    it does not rise from deceitful lips.(D)
2 Let my vindication(E) come from you;
    may your eyes see what is right.(F)

3 Though you probe my heart,(G)
    though you examine me at night and test me,(H)
you will find that I have planned no evil;(I)
    my mouth has not transgressed.(J)
4 Though people tried to bribe me,
    I have kept myself from the ways of the violent
    through what your lips have commanded.
5 My steps have held to your paths;(K)
    my feet have not stumbled.(L)

6 I call on you, my God, for you will answer me;(M)
    turn your ear to me(N) and hear my prayer.(O)
7 Show me the wonders of your great love,(P)
    you who save by your right hand(Q)
    those who take refuge(R) in you from their foes.
8 Keep me(S) as the apple of your eye;(T)
    hide me(U) in the shadow of your wings(V)
9 from the wicked who are out to destroy me,
    from my mortal enemies who surround me.(W)

10 They close up their callous hearts,(X)
    and their mouths speak with arrogance.(Y)
11 They have tracked me down, they now surround me,(Z)
    with eyes alert, to throw me to the ground.
12 They are like a lion(AA) hungry for prey,(AB)
    like a fierce lion crouching in cover.

13 Rise up,(AC) Lord, confront them, bring them down;(AD)
    with your sword rescue me from the wicked.
14 By your hand save me from such people, Lord,
    from those of this world(AE) whose reward is in this life.(AF)
May what you have stored up for the wicked fill their bellies;
    may their children gorge themselves on it,
    and may there be leftovers(AG) for their little ones.

15 As for me, I will be vindicated and will see your face;
    when I awake,(AH) I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness.(AI)

Herr, höre meine Bitte,
    verhilf mir zu meinem Recht!
Achte auf mein Schreien und nimm mein Gebet an,
    das ich ohne Falschheit und Lüge an dich richte.
2 Wenn du dein Urteil fällst, dann sprich mich frei;
    du siehst doch, dass ich unschuldig bin.
3 Du durchschaust alles, was in mir vorgeht,
du durchforschst mich auch in der Nacht.
    Du prüfst mich, aber du findest nichts, was du tadeln müsstest.
Ich habe mir vorgenommen,
    mich nicht einmal zu bösen Worten hinreißen zu lassen!
4 Dein Wort war mein einziger Maßstab –
auch dann, wenn andere nicht danach lebten.
    Von gewalttätigen Menschen hielt ich mich fern.
5 Bei jedem Schritt habe ich deine Ordnungen befolgt,
    nie bin ich davon abgewichen.
6 Mein Gott, nun rufe ich dich an. Ich bin sicher, du antwortest mir.
    Lass mich bei dir ein offenes Ohr finden und höre mein Gebet!
7 Du rettest alle, die bei dir vor ihren Feinden Zuflucht suchen.
    Zeige doch auch mir deine wunderbare Liebe!
8 Bewahre mich wie deinen Augapfel!
    Beschütze mich wie ein Vogel seine Jungen
9 vor den gottlosen Menschen, die mich hart bedrängen,
    vor meinen Todfeinden, die mich umzingeln!
10 Sie haben ihr Herz verschlossen und kennen kein Mitgefühl,
    voll Überheblichkeit reden sie daher.
11 Wohin ich auch gehe – überall umringen sie mich.
    Sie warten nur darauf, mich zu Fall zu bringen.
12 Sie sind wie Löwen, die im Versteck ihrer Beute auflauern,
    um sie dann gierig zu zerfleischen.

13 Greif ein, Herr, komm ihnen zuvor! Wirf sie zu Boden!
    Mit deiner Macht[a] rette mich vor dieser Mörderbande!
14 Bring mich vor denen in Sicherheit,
    die nichts als die Güter dieser Welt im Sinn haben!
Du gibst ihnen schon, was sie verdienen.
    Sogar ihre Kinder und Enkel werden noch genug davon bekommen![b]
15 Ich aber lebe nach deinem Willen,
darum werde ich dich schauen dürfen.
    Wenn ich erwache, will ich mich satt sehen an dir.
