信靠之福
大衛的詩。
16 上帝啊！我投靠你，
求你保護我。
2 我對耶和華說：「你是我的主，
我美好的一切都從你而來。」
3 世上敬畏你的人極其尊貴，
是我所喜愛的。
4 追隨假神的人，其愁苦必有增無減。
我必不向他們的假神獻上血祭，
口中也不提假神的名號。
5 耶和華啊，你是我的一切，
你賜我一切福分，
你掌管我的一切。
6 你賜我佳美之地，
我的產業何其美！
7 我要稱頌賜我教誨的耶和華，
我的良心也在夜間提醒我。
8 我常以耶和華為念，
祂在我右邊，我必不動搖。
9 因此，我的心歡喜，
我的靈快樂，
我的身體也安然無恙。
10 你不會把我的靈魂撇在陰間，
也不會讓你的聖者身體朽壞。
11 你把生命之路指示我，
你右手有永遠的福樂，
我在你面前充滿喜樂。

Боже, опікуйся мною,
в Тобі я шукаю розради!
2 Кажу я[a] Господу: «Ти—мій Володар.
Благословення все моє—від Тебе!»
3 І послідовникам, всім праведним Твоїм,
кого Ти любиш (я кажу):
«Вшановую шляхетність їхню й велич!»[b]
4 А хто богів шукає інших,
зазнає той тяжких страждань.
Мені не по дорозі з ними,
і я не буду проливати за них жертовну кров!
І ймення їхні з уст моїх не злинуть!
5 Господь—це спадщина моя,
мого життя це чаша.
Моє майбутнє у Твоїх руках.
6 Мені щасливий випав жереб,
о так, чудесну частку я здобув[c].
7 Благословляю Господа.
Дає мені поради Він і навіть уночі
керують мною почуття оті.
8 Господь завжди переді мною[d].
Коли зі мною Він, завжди я у безпеці.
9 Тому щасливий я, втішається душа,
я житиму в безпеці.
10 Чому? Тому що не залишиш Ти мене в могилі[e],
не даси зотліть Твоєму вірному учневі[f].
11 Навчи мене життя прожити!
З Тобою поряд бути—
для мене це велика насолода!
А при Твоїй правиці іти—
то вже для мене щастя навіки!

A miktam[a] of David.
2 I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;(C)
apart from you I have no good thing.”(D)
3 I say of the holy people(E) who are in the land,(F)
“They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”
4 Those who run after other gods(G) will suffer(H) more and more.
I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods
or take up their names(I) on my lips.
5 Lord, you alone are my portion(J) and my cup;(K)
you make my lot(L) secure.
6 The boundary lines(M) have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.(N)
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;(O)
even at night(P) my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand,(Q) I will not be shaken.(R)
9 Therefore my heart is glad(S) and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,(T)
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,(U)
nor will you let your faithful[b] one(V) see decay.(W)
11 You make known to me the path of life;(X)
you will fill me with joy in your presence,(Y)
with eternal pleasures(Z) at your right hand.(AA)

Confidence in the Lord

1 Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.(B)
2 I[a] said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord;
I have nothing good besides You.”[b](C)
3 As for the holy people who are in the land,(D)
they are the noble ones.
All my delight is in them.
4 The sorrows of those who take another god
for themselves will multiply;
I will not pour out their drink offerings of blood,
and I will not speak their names with my lips.(E)
5 Lord, You are my portion[c]
and my cup of blessing;
You hold my future.(F)
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me
in pleasant places;
indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance.(G)
7 I will praise the Lord who counsels me(H)—
even at night my conscience instructs me.(I)
8 I keep the Lord in mind[d] always.
Because He is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.(J)
9 Therefore my heart is glad
and my spirit rejoices;
my body also rests securely.(K)
10 For You will not abandon me to Sheol;(L)
You will not allow Your Faithful One to see decay.(M)
11 You reveal the path of life to me;
in Your presence is abundant joy;(N)
in Your right hand are eternal pleasures.(O)
