信靠之福

大卫的诗。

16 上帝啊！我投靠你，
求你保护我。
2 我对耶和华说：“你是我的主，
我美好的一切都从你而来。”
3 世上敬畏你的人极其尊贵，
是我所喜爱的。
4 追随假神的人，其愁苦必有增无减。
我必不向他们的假神献上血祭，
口中也不提假神的名号。
5 耶和华啊，你是我的一切，
你赐我一切福分，
你掌管我的一切。
6 你赐我佳美之地，
我的产业何其美！
7 我要称颂赐我教诲的耶和华，
我的良心也在夜间提醒我。
8 我常以耶和华为念，
祂在我右边，我必不动摇。
9 因此，我的心欢喜，
我的灵快乐，
我的身体也安然无恙。
10 你不会把我的灵魂撇在阴间，
也不会让你的圣者身体朽坏。
11 你把生命之路指示我，
你右手有永远的福乐，
我在你面前充满喜乐。

O cântare a lui David

1 Păzeşte-mă, Dumnezeule, căci(A) în Tine mă încred.
2 Eu zic Domnului: „Tu eşti Domnul meu,
Tu eşti singura(B) mea fericire!”
3 Sfinţii care sunt în ţară,
oamenii evlavioşi, sunt toată plăcerea mea.
4 Idolii se înmulţesc, oamenii aleargă după dumnezei străini,
dar eu n-aduc jertfele lor de sânge
şi nu pun numele(C) lor pe buzele mele.
5 Domnul(D) este partea mea de moştenire şi paharul(E) meu,
Tu îmi îndrepţi sorţul meu.
6 O moştenire plăcută mi-a căzut la sorţ,
o frumoasă moşie mi-a fost dată.
7 Eu binecuvântez pe Domnul, care mă sfătuieşte,
căci până şi noaptea îmi dă îndemnuri inima(F).
8 Am necurmat pe Domnul înaintea(G) ochilor mei.
Când este El la dreapta mea(H), nu mă clatin(I).
9 De aceea, inima mi se bucură, sufletul mi se veseleşte(J)
şi trupul mi se odihneşte în linişte.
10 Căci(K) nu vei lăsa sufletul(L) meu în Locuinţa morţilor,
nu vei îngădui ca preaiubitul Tău să vadă putrezirea.
11 Îmi vei arăta cărarea vieţii(M);
înaintea(N) Feţei Tale sunt bucurii nespuse
şi desfătări veşnice în dreapta(O) Ta.

16 (A)Protect me, God, for (B)I take refuge in You.
2 [b]I said to the Lord, “You are [c]my Lord;
I (C)have nothing good besides You.”
3 As for the [d](D)saints who are on the earth,
[e]They are the majestic ones; (E)all my delight is in them.
4 [f]The (F)pains of those who have acquired another god will be multiplied;
I will not pour out their drink offerings of (G)blood,
Nor will I (H)take their names upon my lips.

5 The Lord is the (I)portion of my inheritance and my (J)cup;
You support my (K)lot.
6 The measuring (L)lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
Indeed, my inheritance is (M)beautiful to me.

7 I will bless the Lord who has (N)advised me;
Indeed, my [g](O)mind instructs me in the night.
8 (P)I have (Q)set the Lord continually before me;
Because He is (R)at my right hand, (S)I will not be shaken.
9 Therefore (T)my heart is glad and (U)my glory rejoices;
My flesh also will (V)dwell securely.
10 For You (W)will not abandon my soul to [h]Sheol;
You will not [i](X)allow Your [j]Holy One to [k]undergo decay.
11 You will make known to me (Y)the way of life;
In (Z)Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are (AA)pleasures forever.

Psalm 16

A miktam[a] of David.

1 Keep me safe,(A) my God,
    for in you I take refuge.(B)

2 I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;(C)
    apart from you I have no good thing.”(D)
3 I say of the holy people(E) who are in the land,(F)
    “They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”
4 Those who run after other gods(G) will suffer(H) more and more.
    I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods
    or take up their names(I) on my lips.

5 Lord, you alone are my portion(J) and my cup;(K)
    you make my lot(L) secure.
6 The boundary lines(M) have fallen for me in pleasant places;
    surely I have a delightful inheritance.(N)
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;(O)
    even at night(P) my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
    With him at my right hand,(Q) I will not be shaken.(R)

9 Therefore my heart is glad(S) and my tongue rejoices;
    my body also will rest secure,(T)
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,(U)
    nor will you let your faithful[b] one(V) see decay.(W)
11 You make known to me the path of life;(X)
    you will fill me with joy in your presence,(Y)
    with eternal pleasures(Z) at your right hand.(AA)
