万物当赞美上帝
148 你们要赞美耶和华！
从天上赞美祂，
在高天赞美祂！
2 众天使啊，你们要赞美祂！
众天军啊，你们要赞美祂！
3 太阳、月亮啊，你们要赞美祂！
闪亮的星辰啊，你们要赞美祂！
4 高天啊，你要赞美祂！
穹苍之上的水啊，你要赞美祂！
5 愿这一切都来赞美耶和华！
因为祂一发命令便创造了万物。
6 祂使这一切各处其位，
永不改变，
祂的命令永不废弃。
7 要在世上赞美耶和华，
海中的巨兽和深渊啊，
8 火焰、冰雹、雪花、云霞和听祂吩咐的狂风啊，
9 高山、丘陵、果树和香柏树啊，
10 野兽、牲畜、爬虫和飞鸟啊，
11 世上的君王、万国、首领和审判官啊，
12 少男、少女、老人和孩童啊，
你们要赞美耶和华！
13 愿他们都赞美耶和华，
因为唯有祂的名当受尊崇，
祂的荣耀在天地之上。
14 祂使自己的子民强盛，
叫祂忠心的子民，
祂心爱的以色列人得到尊荣。

Geef eer aan de Here in de hemel,
prijs zijn naam die hoog verheven is.
2 Prijs Hem, engelen!
Prijs Hem, hemelse legers!
3 Prijs Hem, zon en maan!
Prijs Hem, alle sterren,
die zoveel licht geven!
4 Prijs Hem, alle hemelen
en al het water dat de hemel omspant!
5 Laat alles de naam van de Here prijzen!
Want op zijn bevel werd alles gemaakt.
6 Hij heeft alles vastgesteld voor altijd.
Hij gaf aan alles een wetmatigheid,
die geen ervan overtreedt.
7 Prijs de Here op aarde!
Prijs Hem, alle grote dieren in de zee
en alle diepe zeebodems!
8 Prijs Hem, vuur en hagel,
sneeuw en mist,
en ook u, stormen, die zijn woord uitvoeren!
9 Prijs Hem, bergen en heuvels,
boomgaarden en cederbomen!
10 Prijs Hem, wilde dieren en het vee,
kruipende dieren en vogels!
11 Prijs Hem, alle koningen op aarde
en alle volken!
Prijs Hem, alle heersers
en machthebbers op aarde!
12 Prijs Hem, jonge mannen en meisjes,
jonge en oude mensen samen!
13 Laat iedereen de naam van de Here prijzen!
Want alleen zijn naam is waard
geprezen te worden.
Zijn macht en heerlijkheid
strekken zich uit over hemel en aarde.
14 Want Hij heeft zijn volk
een hoge positie gegeven:
ieder die Hem liefheeft,
kan Hem prijzen.
Alle Israëlieten,
het volk dat Hij dicht nabij blijft.

Praise the Lord from the heavens;(B)
praise him in the heights above.
2 Praise him, all his angels;(C)
praise him, all his heavenly hosts.(D)
3 Praise him, sun(E) and moon;
praise him, all you shining stars.
4 Praise him, you highest heavens(F)
and you waters above the skies.(G)
5 Let them praise the name(H) of the Lord,
for at his command(I) they were created,
6 and he established them for ever and ever—
he issued a decree(J) that will never pass away.
7 Praise the Lord(K) from the earth,
you great sea creatures(L) and all ocean depths,(M)
8 lightning and hail,(N) snow and clouds,
stormy winds that do his bidding,(O)
9 you mountains and all hills,(P)
fruit trees and all cedars,
10 wild animals(Q) and all cattle,
small creatures and flying birds,
11 kings(R) of the earth and all nations,
you princes and all rulers on earth,
12 young men and women,
old men and children.
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,(S)
for his name alone is exalted;
his splendor(T) is above the earth and the heavens.(U)
14 And he has raised up for his people a horn,[b](V)
the praise(W) of all his faithful servants,(X)
of Israel, the people close to his heart.(Y)
Praise the Lord.

2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.
5 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.
6 He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:
11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.
