称颂　神的信实公义

146 你们要赞美耶和华。

我的心哪！要赞美耶和华。

²我还活着的时候，我要赞美耶和华；

我还在世上的时候，我要歌颂我的　神。

³你们不要倚靠权贵，

不要倚靠世人，他们一点都不能救助你们。

⁴他们的气一断，就归回尘土；

他们所计划的，当天就幻灭了。

⁵以雅各的　神为自己的帮助，

仰望耶和华他的　神的，

这人就是有福的。

⁶耶和华造天、地、海，

和其中的万物；

他持守信实，直到永远。

⁷他为受欺压的人伸冤，

赐食物给饥饿的人，

耶和华使被囚的得自由。

⁸耶和华开了瞎子的眼睛，

耶和华扶起被压迫的人，

耶和华喜爱义人。

⁹耶和华保护寄居的，

扶持孤儿寡妇，

却使恶人的行动挫败。

¹⁰愿耶和华作王，直到永远！

锡安哪！愿你的　神作王，直到万代。

146 Aleluia!
    Louvarei o SENHOR com toda a minha alma!
²Louvarei o SENHOR toda a minha vida.
    Enquanto eu viver, cantarei louvores ao SENHOR.
³Não confiem nas pessoas importantes,
    pois são apenas seres humanos, que não podem salvar ninguém.
⁴Elas também morrem e voltam ao pó;
    nesse mesmo dia terminam todos os seus planos.

⁵Feliz é aquele que recebe ajuda do Deus de Jacó;
    aquele que confia no SENHOR, seu Deus.
⁶Foi ele que fez os céus, a terra, o mar
    e tudo o que há neles,
    ele é sempre fiel.
⁷O SENHOR defende os oprimidos,
    dá comida a quem tem fome
    e dá liberdade aos prisioneiros.
⁸O SENHOR dá vista aos cegos;
    o SENHOR levanta os que caem;
    o SENHOR ama os justos.
⁹O SENHOR protege o estrangeiro,
    cuida dos órfãos e das viúvas,
    mas amarga a vida dos que praticam o mal.
¹⁰O SENHOR reinará eternamente!
    Ó Sião, o seu Deus reinará de geração em geração.

The Happiness of Those Whose Help Is the Lord

146 Praise^[a] the Lord!

^(A)Praise the Lord, O my soul!
²^(B)While I live I will praise the Lord;
I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.

³^(C)Do not put your trust in princes,
Nor in ^[b]a son of man, in whom there is no ^[c]help.
⁴^(D)His spirit departs, he returns to his earth;
In that very day ^(E)his plans perish.

⁵^(F)Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help,
Whose hope is in the Lord his God,
⁶^(G)Who made heaven and earth,
The sea, and all that is in them;
Who keeps truth forever,
⁷^(H)Who executes justice for the oppressed,
^(I)Who gives food to the hungry.
^(J)The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners.

⁸^(K)The Lord opens the eyes of the blind;
^(L)The Lord raises those who are bowed down;
The Lord loves the righteous.
⁹^(M)The Lord watches over the strangers;
He relieves the fatherless and widow;
^(N)But the way of the wicked He ^[d]turns upside down.
