赞美上帝的帮助
146 你们要赞美耶和华！
我的心啊，你要赞美耶和华。
2 我要一生赞美耶和华，
我一息尚存都要赞美祂。
3 你们不要倚靠权贵，
不要倚靠世人，
他们救不了你们。
4 他们气息一断，便归回尘土，
他们的打算转眼成空。
5 蒙雅各的上帝相助、仰望上帝耶和华的人有福了！
6 耶和华创造了天、地、海和其中的万物，
祂永远信实可靠。
7 祂为受压制的人申冤，
赐食物给饥饿的人，
使被囚者得自由。
8 耶和华叫瞎子看见，
扶持被重担所压的人，
祂喜爱义人。
9 耶和华保护寄居异地的人，
看顾孤儿寡妇，
祂挫败恶人的阴谋诡计。
10 耶和华永远掌权。
锡安啊，
你的上帝要世世代代做王。
你们要赞美耶和华！

146 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul.
2 While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:
6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners:
8 The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous:
9 The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
10 The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord.

146 Halleluja!
Lova Herren, min själ!
2 Jag vill prisa Herren så länge jag lever,
lovsjunga min Gud så länge jag finns till.
3 Lita inte på de mäktiga,
på människor som inte kan rädda.
4 När människans ande lämnar henne
återvänder hon till stoftet,
och alla hennes planer blir om intet.
5 Men lycklig är den som väntar på hjälp från Jakobs Gud,
och hoppas på Herren, sin Gud.
6 Han har gjort himlen och jorden,
haven och allt som finns i dem.
Hans trofasthet består för evigt.
7 Han skaffar rätt åt de förtryckta
och ger mat till de hungriga.
Herren befriar fångarna.
8 Herren öppnar de blindas ögon.
Herren lyfter upp de nerböjda.
Herren älskar de rättfärdiga.
9 Herren skyddar främlingar
och har omsorg om faderlösa och änkor,
men de gudlösas planer hindrar han.
10 Herren är kung för evigt, din Gud, Sion,
från generation till generation.

1 Praise the Lord.[a]
Praise the Lord,(A) my soul.
2 I will praise the Lord all my life;(B)
I will sing praise(C) to my God as long as I live.(D)
3 Do not put your trust in princes,(E)
in human beings,(F) who cannot save.
4 When their spirit departs, they return to the ground;(G)
on that very day their plans come to nothing.(H)
5 Blessed are those(I) whose help(J) is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the Lord their God.
6 He is the Maker of heaven(K) and earth,
the sea, and everything in them—
he remains faithful(L) forever.
7 He upholds(M) the cause of the oppressed(N)
and gives food to the hungry.(O)
The Lord sets prisoners free,(P)
8 the Lord gives sight(Q) to the blind,(R)
the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down,(S)
the Lord loves the righteous.(T)
9 The Lord watches over the foreigner(U)
and sustains the fatherless(V) and the widow,(W)
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
10 The Lord reigns(X) forever,
your God, O Zion, for all generations.
