赞美上帝的帮助
146 你们要赞美耶和华！
我的心啊，你要赞美耶和华。
2 我要一生赞美耶和华，
我一息尚存都要赞美祂。
3 你们不要倚靠权贵，
不要倚靠世人，
他们救不了你们。
4 他们气息一断，便归回尘土，
他们的打算转眼成空。
5 蒙雅各的上帝相助、仰望上帝耶和华的人有福了！
6 耶和华创造了天、地、海和其中的万物，
祂永远信实可靠。
7 祂为受压制的人申冤，
赐食物给饥饿的人，
使被囚者得自由。
8 耶和华叫瞎子看见，
扶持被重担所压的人，
祂喜爱义人。
9 耶和华保护寄居异地的人，
看顾孤儿寡妇，
祂挫败恶人的阴谋诡计。
10 耶和华永远掌权。
锡安啊，
你的上帝要世世代代做王。
你们要赞美耶和华！

1 Halleluja! Prijs de Heer!
2 Ik zal de Heer prijzen, mijn leven lang.
Zo lang ik leef, zal ik voor Hem zingen.
3 Vertrouw niet op koningen,
op sterfelijke mensen.
Zij kunnen je niet redden.
4 Als je je laatste adem uitblaast, word je weer stof.
Dan komt er een einde aan al je plannen.
5 Het is heerlijk
als de God van Jakob je Helper is,
als je vertrouwt op je Heer God,
6 die de hemel en de aarde heeft gemaakt
en de zee met alles wat daarin is.
Hij is trouw, voor altijd en eeuwig.
7 Hij komt op voor mensen in nood.
Hij geeft eten aan mensen die honger hebben.
Hij bevrijdt de mensen die gevangen zitten.
8 Hij maakt dat blinde mensen weer kunnen zien.
Hij troost de bedroefde mensen.
De Heer houdt van de mensen die leven zoals Hij het wil.
9 Hij beschermt de vreemdelingen in het land.
Hij zorgt voor de weeskinderen en de weduwen.
Maar als mensen zich niets van Hem aantrekken,
zorgt Hij ervoor dat er van hun plannen niets terecht komt.
10 De Heer is Koning, voor eeuwig.
Sion, jouw God is Koning voor eeuwig en altijd.

1 Praise the Lord.[a]
Praise the Lord,(A) my soul.
2 I will praise the Lord all my life;(B)
I will sing praise(C) to my God as long as I live.(D)
3 Do not put your trust in princes,(E)
in human beings,(F) who cannot save.
4 When their spirit departs, they return to the ground;(G)
on that very day their plans come to nothing.(H)
5 Blessed are those(I) whose help(J) is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the Lord their God.
6 He is the Maker of heaven(K) and earth,
the sea, and everything in them—
he remains faithful(L) forever.
7 He upholds(M) the cause of the oppressed(N)
and gives food to the hungry.(O)
The Lord sets prisoners free,(P)
8 the Lord gives sight(Q) to the blind,(R)
the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down,(S)
the Lord loves the righteous.(T)
9 The Lord watches over the foreigner(U)
and sustains the fatherless(V) and the widow,(W)
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
10 The Lord reigns(X) forever,
your God, O Zion, for all generations.
Praise the Lord.
