2 他們心中圖謀惡事，

整天挑啟爭端。

3 他們使自己的舌頭尖利，如同蛇的舌頭；

他們嘴裡有虺蛇的毒。（細拉）

4 耶和華啊！求你保護我脫離惡人的手，

保護我脫離強暴的人，

因為他們圖謀推倒我。

2 who devise evil plans(A) in their hearts
    and stir up war(B) every day.
3 They make their tongues as sharp as(C) a serpent’s;
    the poison of vipers(D) is on their lips.[a]

4 Keep me safe,(E) Lord, from the hands of the wicked;(F)
    protect me from the violent,
    who devise ways to trip my feet.
