世人的邪恶

大卫的诗，交给乐长。

14 愚昧人心里想：“没有上帝。”
他们全然败坏，行为邪恶，
无人行善。
2 耶和华从天上俯视人间，
看有没有明智者，
有没有寻求上帝的人。
3 人们都偏离正路，
一同堕落；
没有人行善，
一个也没有！
4 恶人吞吃我的百姓如同吃饭，
他们不求告耶和华。
难道他们无知吗？
5 但他们终必充满恐惧，
因为上帝站在义人当中。
6 你们恶人使困苦人的计划落空，
但耶和华是他们的避难所。
7 愿以色列的拯救来自锡安！
耶和华救回祂被掳的子民时，
雅各要欢欣，以色列要快乐。

Psalm 14(A)

For the director of music. Of David.

1 The fool[a] says in his heart,
    “There is no God.”(B)
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
    there is no one who does good.

2 The Lord looks down from heaven(C)
    on all mankind
to see if there are any who understand,(D)
    any who seek God.(E)
3 All have turned away,(F) all have become corrupt;(G)
    there is no one who does good,(H)
    not even one.(I)

4 Do all these evildoers know nothing?(J)

They devour my people(K) as though eating bread;
    they never call on the Lord.(L)
5 But there they are, overwhelmed with dread,
    for God is present in the company of the righteous.
6 You evildoers frustrate the plans of the poor,
    but the Lord is their refuge.(M)

7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!(N)
    When the Lord restores(O) his people,
    let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!

14 Las personas necias afirman que no hay Dios. Están corrompidas, sus obras son detestables; ¡no hay un solo individuo que haga lo bueno!

2 Desde el alto cielo mira el Señor para ver si entre toda la humanidad hay aunque sea uno que sea entendido y busque a Dios. 3 Pero no; todos se han descarriado; todos están corrompidos por el pecado. No hay ninguno bueno, ¡ni siquiera uno! 4 ¿Acaso no entienden todos los que hacen lo malo? Devoran a mi pueblo como pan; y en cuanto a orar, ¡ni pensarlo!

5 El terror los acosará, pues Dios está con los que lo obedecen. 6 Los malvados frustran los planes de los oprimidos pero el Señor los protege. 7 ¡Ojalá que desde Sion viniera Dios para salvar a su Israel! ¡Qué gozo habrá en Israel y cómo gritará de alegría Jacob, cuando el Señor haya rescatado a su pueblo!
