Psalm 14
Living Bible
14 That man is a fool who says to himself, “There is no God!” Anyone who talks like that is warped and evil and cannot really be a good person at all.
2 The Lord looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who are wise, who want to please God. 3 But no, all have strayed away; all are rotten with sin. Not one is good, not one! 4 They eat my people like bread and wouldn’t think of praying! Don’t they really know any better?
5 Terror shall grip them, for God is with those who love him. 6 He is the refuge of the poor and humble when evildoers are oppressing them. 7 Oh, that the time of their rescue were already here, that God would come from Zion now to save his people. What gladness when the Lord has rescued Israel!

Folly and Wickedness of Men.
For the choir director. A Psalm of David.
14 The fool has (A)said in his heart, “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, they have committed abominable [a]deeds;
There is (B)no one who does good.
2 The Lord has (C)looked down from heaven upon the sons of men
To see if there are any who [b](D)understand,
Who (E)seek after God.
3 They have all (F)turned aside, together they have become corrupt;
There is (G)no one who does good, not even one.
4 Do all the workers of wickedness (H)not know,
Who (I)eat up my people as they eat bread,
And (J)do not call upon the Lord?
5 There they are in great dread,
For God is with the (K)righteous generation.
6 You would put to shame the counsel of the afflicted,
But the Lord is his (L)refuge.
7 Oh, that (M)the salvation of Israel [c]would come out of Zion!
When the Lord [d](N)restores His captive people,
Jacob will rejoice, Israel will be glad.

14 (1b) Los necios piensan que no hay Dios:
todos se han pervertido;
han hecho cosas horribles;
¡no hay nadie que haga lo bueno!
2 Desde el cielo mira el Señor a los hombres
para ver si hay alguien con entendimiento,
alguien que busque a Dios.
3 Pero todos se han ido por mal camino;
todos por igual se han pervertido.
¡Ya no hay quien haga lo bueno!
¡No hay ni siquiera uno!
4 No tienen entendimiento los malhechores,
los que se comen a mi pueblo como quien come pan,
los que no invocan el nombre del Señor.
5 Temblarán llenos de miedo,
pues Dios está con los que lo obedecen.
6 Se burlan de los anhelos del humilde,
pero el Señor lo protege.
7 ¡Ojalá que del monte Sión
venga la salvación de Israel!
Cuando el Señor haga cambiar la suerte de su pueblo,
se alegrarán los descendientes de Jacob,
todo el pueblo de Israel.
