稱頌 神的慈愛與信實
大衛的詩。
138 我要一心稱謝你，
我要在眾神面前歌頌你。（本節在《馬索拉文本》包括細字標題）
2 我要向你的聖殿下拜，
我要因你的慈愛和信實稱謝你的名；
因為你使你的名和應許顯為大，
超過一切（“因為你使你的名和應許顯為大，超過一切”原文作“因為你使你的應許顯為大，超過你的一切名字”）。
3 我呼求的日子，你就應允我；
你使我剛強，心裡有力。
4 耶和華啊！世上的君王都要稱謝你，
因為他們聽見了你口中的言語。
5 他們要歌頌耶和華的作為，
因為耶和華大有榮耀。
6 耶和華雖然高高在上，仍然看顧卑微的人；
他卻從遠處認出驕傲的人。
7 我雖然處身在患難之中，你仍使我存活；
我仇敵的怒氣，你必伸手抵擋；
你的右手必拯救我。
8 耶和華必成全關乎我的事；
耶和華啊！你的慈愛永遠長存，
求你不要離棄你手所造的。

138 Señor, quiero alabarte de todo corazón
y cantarte salmos delante de los dioses.
2 Quiero postrarme hacia tu santo Templo
y alabar tu nombre
por tu gran amor y fidelidad.
Porque has exaltado tu nombre
y tu palabra sobre todas las cosas.
3 Cuando te llamé, me respondiste;
me infundiste ánimo y renovaste mis fuerzas.
4 Oh Señor, todos los reyes de la tierra
te alabarán al escuchar tus palabras.
5 Celebrarán con cánticos tus caminos,
porque tu gloria, Señor, es grande.
6 El Señor es excelso,
pero toma en cuenta al humilde
y reconoce de lejos al orgulloso.
7 Aunque pase por grandes angustias,
tú me darás vida;
contra el furor de mis enemigos extenderás la mano:
¡tu mano derecha me pondrá a salvo!
8 El Señor cumplirá en mí su propósito.[a]
Tu gran amor, Señor, perdura para siempre;
¡no abandones la obra de tus manos!

138 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord.
6 Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8 The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
